Wedding

I stand in my dress and admire all of it... and before anyone assumes anything no I am not at my own wedding ( single as a Pringle) I am going to my best friends wedding and I'm the maid of honor and she has been trying to set me up with the man of honor I believe she said his name was.. Shawn that's it! And from the looks of it might I admit he was very cute.. She arranged a dance for the two of us just because she's my best friend and that's just simply what best friends do. the wedding was in two hours but I needed to be there early to get ready and help out. I walk into where the reception will be held and it looks gorgeous! I was standing in the middle of the dance floor when I hear my name I turn around to see my best friend standing there... she look stunning I tear up thinking of all the times we have been through together and I'm just so happy for her.

------------time skip to wedding--------

I was standing in the isle wait for Y/B/F/N to walk down and you look over and see Shawn your jaw drops and he just smirks and you hear the girl standing behind you say " don't want to catch flies now do we?" you chuckle under your breath and then it happens Y/B/F/N walked down the isle and you instantly tear up again and you try your best not to let a tear falls but as soon as they spoke 'I Do' the waterworks fell. they walked off and Shawn and you linked arms to go down the isle and he softly whispers in your ear which sent shivers down your spine " I think it's adorable that you care so much for your friend" you feel your cheeks get hot and you just keep walking and you guys finally reach the limo and you and Shawn have been talking the whole time and he tells you that he will be singing at the reception and you smile. Talented. Noted. you guys reach the reception , well that was quick. you and Shawn walk arms still linked and Y/B/F/N looked at you and smirked and you just chuckle at how much of a goof-ball she is. You walk in and realize that Shawn and you have departed. You huff you knew this was going to happen do you sit in the corner table and that's when Y/B/F/N comes up and she has sympathy in her eyes ready for what you have to say next "what's wrong Y/N?" you just flash her a quick smile she nods and walks away.

It's been about an hour and a half and still no sign of Shawn you've been stood up. or just delusional because why on earth would someone like him like you and that's when you hear someone get on the mic "Hello everyone I'm Shawn and I'm here to perform a song I just wrote about a special someone here." you shot out of your set and got to the front and look dead into Shawn's eye and he goes for the mic again " Y/N this is for you" wait what? you tear up as you listen to his angelic voice fill the room and his strumming of his guitar quickly follows. He strums his last note and the crowd cheers including you once the crowd dies down Shawn gets on one knee in front of you your eyes widened you loved him but too soon and as if he read your mind " Y/N I'm not proposing well not yet. but will you take this promise ring to show our everlasting love and that no matter what we will be an eternity and some infinities are bigger than others but ours will last forever." you smile " Y/F/N Y/M/N Y/L/N will you be my girlfriend" you nod vigorously and you two dance the night away.
