Carrie walked through the front door with her chain in her mouth and brown paper bags in her hands. She made her way into the kitchen, dropped her keys on the counter top and sighed once she set her bags on the counter. She connected her phone to the speakers and played music as she put away the groceries.

"Hey babe! I didn't hear you coming in..." Mike exited his office. He walked over to the kitchen where Carrie was putting away the groceries, stood behind her and wrapped his arm around her waist, resting his hand on her baby bump and his chin on her head.

"It's alright... How are you? How was the meeting?" Carrie turned around to face her husband. The small of her back was against the marble countertop as he stood in front of her.

"It was... Well, it was something... I'll tell you later, I don't want us to be late to your appointment..." He said, his happy expression suddenly turning serious.

"Shoot! I forgot that was today!" The blonde said.

"And I'm guessing you forgot I have a game tonight..." Mike chuckled.

"Wow! That's today too?" Carrie sighed.

"Yes ma'am... Check the calendar..." Mike chuckled as Carrie walked towards the calendar that hung on the wall.

"Yeah, you're right... It says it right here: 'June 5 Hockey game @ 8'... Wait, June 5?" Carrie looked up at Mike who was trying to hide his smile.

"Oh my gosh, I'm such a bad wife! Happy birthday baby!" Carrie jumped into Mike's arms. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed his neck softly.

"Thank you!" Mike smiled., still holding his wife in his arms.

"I didn't get you anything..." Carrie sighed.

"I don't mind..." Mike shook his head and smiled.

"Well, there is a certain dance that I look forward to every year..." Mike smirked.

"Mike..." Carrie glared at her husband.

"I was I was actually thinking like, um, I don't know, like, a shoulder rub..." She suggested.

"Eh..." He scrunched his nose.

"Babe... None of my lingerie is gonna fit me..." She chuckled.

"That's okay... Birthday tradition doesn't care..." He smirked.

"All right, cowboy. So, I'll meet you in the bedroom in five minutes..." She patted his butt.

"You know what to do: Strip down to your birthday suit..." Carrie said, followed by Mike up the stairs and entering her bathroom.

"Wait to seconds out here..." Carrie entered her room and shut the door. She rushed into the closet and rummaged through a drawer, trying to find something to give Mike. She found a hand towel she was given one one of her shows. It was the stupidest thing she had ever seen. The towel was red and in white letters it read 'The Terrible Towel'. She placed it on the bed and placed a Post-It over it. She wrote 'To: Mike From: Carrie. Sorry this is such a lame give, but the again, I'm lame so... Love you Xoxo'

"Okay, come in!" Carrie ran into the bathroom.

Mike chuckled when he saw the gift. He removed every piece of clothing was wearing and waited for Carrie. She stood in front of the mirror, holding a laced bra. She sighed, knowing that the small bra would not fit her swollen chest, one of the results of her pregnancy. After a few minutes, she gave up and placed the bra over her clothes and the straps over her shoulders.

"Alright, I'm ready!" Mike announced.

"Oh, this gift is great by the way!" He said, waiting for Carrie to come out.

"Hey, you promise you like your gift?" Carrie asked, still in the bathroom.

"The towel? It's absolutely terrible!" Mike laughed, making Carrie laugh loudly. Mike placed the towel over his lap, covering his bare man area.

"Suit's on?" Carrie asked.

"Yes, ma'am!" Mike said.

"Your birthday suit?" Carrie asked, already embarrassed by her ensemble.

"It's the only one I've got..." He chuckled. Carrie opened the door and stood under the doorframe. She sighed and rolled her eyes, knowing Mike was about to burst into laughter.

"I had to put the lingerie on top of my clothes..." She sighed.

"I see that..." He tried to hide his smile.

"It wasn't a great moment for me..." She shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"Tradition is tradition!" He pulled her towards him and kissed her stomach, making her laugh.

"Oh, there you are!" Doctor Pearson said as he entered his office. Mike and Carrie sat in chairs across from the doctor's chair.

"Hi doctor P, it's good to see you!" Carrie grinned.

"Good to see you too! I got your exams here!" The doctor smiled.

"So is, is this the moment? Is this, is this when we find out if we're-we're having a boy or a girl?" Mike asked. The doctor looked uncomfortable, he sighed and looked back and forth between Carrie and Mike.

"Wait..." Carrie placed her hand on Mike's arm. "What's wrong, Dr.P?"

"What would you guys say if I told you you were having twins?" The doctor asked. Carrie and Mike laughed awkwardly and nervously.

"Well, I - I'd say you're lying..." Mike chuckled.

"I am..." The doctor chuckled nervously after a few moments of silence.

"Oh, okay!" Carrie laughed as Mike sighed in relief.

"You're having triplets." The doctor said.
