Stacy: *calls randy*
Randy: Hey what's up?
Stacy: Would you want to hang out tonight?
Randy: It's a school night.
Stacy: I know, but I want to hang out with you.
Randy: Is there something wrong?
Stacy: No, not really.
Randy: Ok, yeah, I'll come by later.
Stacy: Thank you Randy, it means a lot to me.
Randy: Yeah, no problem.
Stacy: Ok, I have to go, see you later at the park?
Randy: Is that where we're meeting?
Stacy: Yeah, ok, bye. *hangs up*
Randy: *looks at his phone*
John: She wants you to meet her now? It's late Randy.
Randy: Yeah, but its ok John, I love her. She's my best friend and I'm gonna be there for her. I don't know what's bothering her, but I'll get to the bottom of it.
John: Alright, well good luck with whatever it is.
Randy: Yeah.
John: Wait, she's not pregnant right?
Randy: No dude! We're only eight graders! We're junior highs!
John: Yeah, but gotta go, bye. *hangs up*
Bob: Randy, where are you going?
Randy: Stacy wants me to meet her.
Bob: Do you know what time it is?
Randy: Nine?
Bob: It's ten, get to bed!
Randy: She needs me tho pops.
Bob: Now? What couldn't you two meet up earlier?
Randy: She was busy.
Bob: So? Bed, now!
Randy: Dad!
Bob: Give me your phone.
Randy: *gives his phone to bob*
Bob: Goodnight.
Randy: *upset* Night. *goes off to bed*
(The Next Day)
John: So, what happened?
Randy: We didn't meet.
John: Why?
Randy: Dad wouldn't let me.
John: I could of told you that.
Randy: Shut up.
Stacy: Hey?
John: I'll catch up with you later. *leaves*
Randy: Hey? What's up?
Stacy: I stayed til midnight waiting for you? Why didn't you come?
Randy: My dad, you know he's pretty strict.
Stacy: Why didn't you call to let me know? Do you know how cold it was.
Randy: Didn't have my phone neither, I'm sorry.
Stacy: *forces a smile* It's ok, again tonight? Same place?
Randy: Yeah.
Stacy: Ok, see you later in class. *leaves*
