The ride back home was quite. Jess kept avoiding me all day long. But from tomorrow I need to start on making her last days better. Before going to sleep; I made a picnic basket for the day ahead.

Jess and I reached the park near our college. This was where I had first met her. She was looking at some kids at play when I passed her a note.
Dear Jess;
I don't know how long we will be together but I want to let you know that I love you because you are you. Even after all these years you never pretended to be anyone else. You showed what you felt. You were true and so I love you.

I passed a rose to her and she smiled but her eyes showed pain.
