Round #1  

Beretta:  800 words, action story, using the image of a Beretta handgun as the theme.

A/N: I may have interpreted the theme incorrectly, but we shall see.  I had a lot of fun writing this one.

What a load of cobblers! Write a 200 word drobble with a fairy tale theme.

A/N: Oh dear.... All I can say about this one is two words: Eddie Izzard. :)

Gladiators -- write a max 2000 character story revolving around Ancient Roman Gladiators.

A/N: Totally messed up on this one!  I thought it was 2000 word limit, not character limit.  I was over by about 3k characters and no way to pare it down without butchering it.  Bah!

Round #4

Oktoberfest!  Write a humours drabble involving the Oktoberfest and beer.

A/N:  Oh this one was tricky!  But while doing a bit of research to find something of note to write about, I did find the most impressive training video ever -- for giggles (and stage gore), YouTube search for "Forklift Driver Klaus."  :D

Round #5

Lord of the Nurburbing  -- Write a three page Lord of The Rings fan fiction.  The only LOTR character that can be used is Gollum/Sméagol with a Precious of anything other than the Ring.  Also must include three of the quotes provided.

A/N: Tricky!  I see Sméagol as a bit of a psychopath before the Ring even corrupted him.  The Ring drove him to kill his cousin for it.  I'd imagine that sooner or later he probably would have snapped and killed without the Ring's influence in order to gain something he wanted.

Rustlers -- Write a one-page, western-flavor First Person POV story about The Red Bull Ring -- a group of cattle rustlers.

A/N: I channeled my inner Mattie Ross.  :D  I also went along the lines of honor amongst thieves.

Film Noir Thriller With A Dash of Clue - write a three page 1940's crime thriller story.  Include a choice characters, weapons, and places, from the game Clue.

A/N: LOADS of fun to write this one even though I might not have done gritty well.  I immediately thought of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall as my two main characters.  I could have easily written one unending innuendo.

A/N: Ouch!  I chose a possessed golf cart -- I hope that's considered equipment!

A/N: I did a note home from a kid at summer camp. :D
