Bage looked, petrified. " but, I don't want to go away! My mum will be worried sick!" she wailed.
Slate gave a silent sigh, and looked Bage in the eyes. "If you don't, what do you think would happen to your family if they just, forgot you? And, it could also put them at risk by seeing ME and also being taken by the lucids!" Slate growled, trying to reason.
Bage looked helplessly back at her house, than back at Slate.
" ok.... " her answer, barley close to a whisper. her droopy eyes then went bold, and said more confidently, " I WON'T let the lucids hurt MY family!"" ok, than lets go. " Slate answered, and started turning around.
" WAIT, now?!" Bage screeched in disbelief.
" yes, of course. " Slate answered, kinda annoyed.
''c-can I at least have one, one more school day? tomorrow is the last day of school. It won't be suspicious. " she whispered the last part.
Slate was silent for almost a whole minute, before he answered. " I suppose, but be wary. "
Bage's eyes lit up instantly, and she bent down and hugged the wolf, as he tried to move away but stopped himself when it was no use.
