Chapter two

Melodi's POV

It's been about half an hour since I started my walk around the neighbourhood and right now I find myself in a park? I see children running and playing on swings, laughing and having the time of their lives. Ahh the early years, I mean in not that old, I'm only 19 but I just can't help but think how much easier it was when we were kids. I mean no one cared about what you looked like or what you did or anything, not that friends and school was much of a problem for me because back home in Sweden I was quite the popular one that always had friends but look at me now. I'm in a foreign country with no one I know except for my family and I'm about to start a new school tomorrow. How does everything go from being absolutely perfect to absolutely horrible? Well I guess I can answer that question with only one word..

PARENTS.

It started to get a little chilly so I decided to go back home so I turned around and started going back the same direction I came. Surprisingly it only took me a few minutes till my house was in my eye sight.

~ night time ~

I change into my Pyjama short and a T-shirt and then brushed my teeth. I got into bed and weirdly enough felt a little nervous about tomorrow. I wonder if they'll like me in school or if I'll ever find a friend here, they'll probably think I'm weird because I don't have the British accent. Actually my English is really good if I have to say so myself. In fact, people always think I'm American because I've always had this American accent thank god because i just can't stand some Swedish people and their English accents hah. That's how I laid in bed for a few more minutes before I fell asleep.
