AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR, YONGNAM WAS POSITIVE that nothing could bring him down. He was turning twenty-four, he was in a stable position, his sister was getting married.
In retrospect, his life was actually pretty good.
He never thought it would turn out like this.
In just nine months, he'd gained a friend, fallen in love with her and lost her.
In a snap, a pinch, so quickly.
Initially, he wasn't planning on being in a relationship at all. He was going to be single for a while, Kyungri was more than enough for him to handle for a few years, he didn't even know where his life was going to take him.
(he certainly didn't think it would be here)
He doesn't know what to say about it though.
He opened a restaurant, one that luckily, was successful, he fell in love with an amazing girl, and his sister got pregnant and married.
Considering his families history with love and relationships it's a little scary but it happened.
(a little overwhelming but life always is)
To be honest, his life has always been, well, hectic. It's been a big blur of this irrational sense of isolation paired with this innate amount of anxiety that burns in his gut the moment that something happens. And by something he really means anything and everything to do with the concept or idea of love.
(he was a young boy scorned by a terrible relationship and was fed the idea of a broken family being the only resort, or that leaving behind your children was acceptable because they reminded you of someone you used to love)
He's staring at the television and he knows that Ahyoung is speaking beside him. His ears are burning red, and his cheeks are flushing but he can't really fathom anything coherent.
"H-how did they," His breathing comes out rushed.
"It seems they were tipped off last night about this. Apparently, some anonymous woman called and said that Tzuyu was waiting and they quickly sent someone out."
"Well we know it was probably someone who was here." Ahyoung frowns. "Actually, Yuju was here after we'd left so that's safe to assume who it was isn't it?" Her phone dinged twice. "Gikwang says he's on his way. And he's bringing resources? Whatever that means."
"It's probably alcohol."
"Oh God, I hope not, as much as I could use a drink, alcohol is probably not the best thing to have right now." Bambam ran a hand down his face, tired and annoyed at what was running across the screen.
Ahyoung blinked. "Hey, uh, maybe this is not the best time, but uh, it looks like Jaebum-oppa's coming over here right now."
"What?" Bambam's head whipped towards the girl standing behind the counter. "You're kidding right?"
"I am, in fact, not."
"Oh god, I can't have two headaches here to add to the third."
"I say let them be." Ahyoung pauses after a moment. "They're grown men. We can't fix what's happening between them. And right now, I get that's there is this underlying tension but we can't force them to talk, so we just won't. Tell Jaebum that Oppa will be here and I'll do the same. But there is too much going downhill to fast for us to be worried about every little thing."
