Why Rose?

Rose had been visiting us more often lately and talking about a Scorpious. I didn't expect her to soften this much for Malfoy. I just talked about my loves while she thought about her's. I missed Weasley all the more when I spoke to her more about him. Then James...my mystery sorta. I never know if I have a chance with him or not. I wrote a letter to my older brother to meet me at the whomping willow at sundown. We needed to talk about visiting my stepfather or at least showing us his life in a different perspective. I know just the witch to help in Egypt or we're going to Romania. Either way, Minerva won't know and I can't be seen. Especially by ministry workers.(Since they all have permission to kill me.)

Eathan isn't excited with my plan but it's the only one I could make that avoids sight. He understands and knows that. Really, the only problem is my time limit.

Eathan's pov

We drank our potion to go meet up with Rose on the field. We flew around for a while, and taught her some moves. Then we told her everything. Everything except that I was going and Eathan was staying. She'd freak out.

Then Ezie and I noticed a now bloody poor bloke. Their fourth year now, you'd think she'd be okay with them. Ezie summoned them. The two boys were instantly pushed forward and were left standing about six feet in front of Ezie. Wands now in her hands. She said,"You can have your wands as soon as you tell me what you heard me say to Rose".

Malfoy"We didn't hear anything we just got here and were to far away to hear".

Ezie"So you failed to hear or catch our conversation"?

Albus"Yes".*looks at Ezie suspiciously*

Ezie"Very well then". *gives wands backs to the boys and turns to Rose*

"Well, we're off".

Rose"You're bloody scary sometimes, you know that"?

*we wave goodbye and walk to the lake*

Albus and Malfoy follow us,which irritates Ezie.

Ezie"Look, I hope you know I know you're here Malfoy and Albus". "I don't care if you're under your invisibility cloak". "You can hide from death himself under there but not me". "So you might as well show yourselves".

At this,the boys took off the cloak with a dumb look on their faces. Ezie gave me the 'do they know our species' look. I shook my head no slightly. Malfoy was staring at me. Studying me. While, Albus studied Ezie. I wondered what he was thinking, as he studied her. Then my mind went back to Phelps and his happy goats chewing on grass.

Ezie's pov

"Stop it Eathan".

Malfoy and Albus jump slightly at her sudden tone change. I tried to look innocent. To which she just rolled her eyes.

"You two stay here, i'm going to get my cloak".

Malfoy shook his head in agreement but Albus tried to follow so I stepped in front of him. He stepped back,looked at me,looked back at the lake and Ezie was back. She threw me my cloak. Under our cloaks we transformed back to ourselves. The potion wore off. We were being studied again. Albus spoke first.

"You're Fakes' children"?

Ezie"Why should I tell you"?

Albus"I'm just asking because of something I found in the library the other day".

Ezie"The restricted section,maybe".

Albus didn't deny this fact.

Malfoy"You really can't speak"?

Eathan shook his head no, then opened his mouth to try to say 'as you can tell'.

Ezie"He can't even scream". I look down at my shoes at this. I then look up quickly as I remember something.

Ezie"Look, Albus I need to give your father something, but he has permission to kill me on sight. You see, so I know I haven't been that friendly but I pranked the lion 's house instead of yours just because of this". I was explaining fast. Albus stopped me,his hands on my arms,his eyes looking straight at mine.

Albus"Look,I don't get on all that well with him...but I don't mind helping you".

I was stupid enough and happy enough I smiled up at him and hugged him tight for a moment. Malfoy raised an eyebrow at this. I was still smiling when I showed him my silver snitch.

"It was my step father's, it has something inside and since your father and I both first caught our snitch the same way. He will know how to open it."

Albus shook his head in agreement. I passed him my silver snitch and hoped he would return it afterwards.
