Kaliment was thankfully not late to his own meeting and in fact the first one there. He still could not sit down, he was physically dying. Making it worse it was Aleksandar that arrived next. He twitched his nose instantly.
"So, the plans for the city? I get to relocate some fae there?" He questioned in his deep husky voice. Kaliment resisted a shiver. The pale skin and shining gold eyes were very intimidating.
It also took him a moment to respond because he didn't hear the question right, and resisted choking on the air. "Yes, I have more than enough space," he finally responded, his face twisted up in a scowl despite his best efforts to keep it neutral with the pain.
"Are you alright?" Aleksandar asked scratching his stomach. Kaliment could tell he was wearing specially tailored clothes to hide the swell.
"Quite fine," Kaliment responded turning as Lincoln snuck in. For how short and adorable he was, he was rather fierce and scary. Again Aleksandar twitched his nose as he took in the smallest king.
"What?" Lincoln snapped, "You using your twitchy twitchy senses to smell me?"
Aleksandar raised a brow, but Kaliment could see through his surprise. Behind it was outright anger and with it came a spark of his black magic.
"Do watch your tongue," Aleksandar growled, "You do not speak to fellow kings like that."
Lincoln was not going to apologize as he sat the table and threw his feet up on it. Kaliment knew he was cycling too, but he hid it so well, hardly a spark of pain--perhaps he was used to it by now, or he was regulated.
"So my fellow brethren, how goes the lifeys?" Lincoln questioned studying his boot.
Aleksandar's jaw flecked, "I came here for a diplomatic interaction, not some barnyard beast mortal. Sit up and act like a king."
"Or what preggers?" Lincoln shot back, as he got to his feet. "Going to smite me with your magic?"
Kaliment slammed his hand on the table before Aleksandar killed the sassy king. They were worse than children the three of them! "Enough!" He screamed, "I will not have you two acting like buffoons in my kingdom!"
Aleksandar dipped his head in respect and reluctantly a few moments after Lincoln shrugged and nodded.
"Do you have a battle training arena, Kaliment?" Aleksandar questioned, "I think it right now, with high tensions, it is best to show each other what we all bring to the table?"
"And you are fine with that?" Kaliment questioned gesturing his hand to the dark lord's stomach.
"Only if you allow it. Mind I ask if you are the okay one? I may have a swollen abdomen but, I do not suffer from hindering cramps."
Kaliment shrugged, studying Lincoln, "And you?"
The small brown-eyed man grinned in a feral way, "I'd love to."

Allahie was surprised to find that Queen Isa showed up at her door, with the massive Lord Valkyrie and a servant in tow. "My lady please allow this trusted servant to watch your children. I have urgent matters to discuss."
Allahie nodded and stepped back, "They are falling asleep, summon Kennith to help when they awake. They will not like your human smell."
The lady nodded confidently but swallowed nervously. Kennith was rather frightening, but knowing him he'd figure out a way to draw her in.
The Lincoln's beautiful red haired blue eyed mate smiled. "Why am I stuck with the queens? This is a queen event. I am not one." He smirked.
"But you are not the king now are you?"
"Of course not, that is my mate's right. I'd never touch his throne."
Isa smiled, "Mind me, I am not immortal, I do not have the mating bond. I just have a husband. Sorry in advance if my terminology is not right, but first off, is Kaliment.....?"
Valkryie tipped his head to the side, but Allahie understood. "My lady, I do not believe he is immortal, but he is demi-demi fae. He has just a bit of fae in him, you too my lady, even more than him."
Isa studied Valkyrie and then pulled Allahie to the side for a moment clarifying it was women's talk. "Allahie...Simon...I'm afraid. I love my husband too much."
In that moment Allahie realized something was horribly off. Her mate had been wrong. Isa was Kaliment's true mate. Through her panic and fear she could detected the bond, no matter how slight it was. But there was a problem, Kaliment was so close to human he didn't sense it and having an advisor so close to him, and even sire on of his children was not helping.
"You are Kaliment's true mate, you mustn't worry." She felt the pain of her fellow queen. She was going through what she had gone through with Kennith. The feeling of having to fight for what was naturally hers. The panic and despair. "Besides, he is clean, if you catch my drift. If he wasn't, he'd be pregnant."
Isa smiled and touched her hand in a thank you gesture before turning to Valkyrie. The massive lord just waited patiently, studying them. He made even Allahie look small and she was taller than King Kaliment.
After they resumed walking for a long time, her and Valk. both not quite sure were they were going or what they were going to talk about the lord spoke softly. "My Lady, Allahie, what exactly did Aleksandar mean...by you know...good kings are made or whatever."
By now she had learned to reason with her mate and understand his logic. "He meant what he said, as rude as it came out. Your mate and Kaliment both cycling perhaps could lead to a mix and therefore great heirs with this alliance."
Isa choked and turned to face them. Her white silk dress flowed but she was still donned with weapons, and wore tight black fighting leggings underneath. She was a powerful lady herself.
"Mind you, I will not allow mixing to be happening. My husband has had enough children, and he isn't having some foreign kingdoms'...which is why I summoned this meeting. You fae are not homophobic or even slightly unsettled by mating with who you must for getting on good sides."
Valkyrie gave a heavy sigh, "My lady, you must understand we have mates...."
"And fae never take anything without permission," Allahie finished. "It is our code now, even the demi fae know it."
"I just want to clarify nothing is going to happen? I find it atrocious, with my human mind and standards for even the thought to occur. For three men to intermingle."
"You have my word, and Lincoln's in advance," Valkyrie smiled putting a hand across his heart.
Allahie nodded, "So where have our families gotten off too? Their scents left the room."
Valkyrie twitched his nose, "Lincoln has that pent up rage to him currently, and with the smell of sweat brooding down the halls, I'd guess he convinced them to go to the training room."
