Ezra POV: today was the worst day of my life to day is Empire day ,my birthday but no one knew that because I kept it a secret. Today was the day I lost my parents. I sighed. Trying not to remember but I couldn't.
Flash back
"Happy birthday Ezra". My mom said. I was so happy today was my seventh birthday and it was going to be perfect. Or so I thought. "Come on open your presents son". My dad said with a huge smile. I began to open them but then someone came in. Two men one had a black hood and the other had armor all over him even on his face and I could here his breathing. "Oh don't you just love birthdays lord Vader". The emperor ask. "Yes Master especially if their son is strong with the force". He answer. "I told you, you aren't getting Ezra". My dad yelled. "Oh well then I guess I will have to kill you instead". Vader said. Then he grabbed something and it was red. Then he stabbed my dad. "DAD". I yelled. Then my mom right after. "MOM". "Ezra run save yourself". Those were my moms last words and they echoed through my mind as I ran away.

And after that I always hated that day. I didn't want to get out of bed so I just skipped breakfast. I just want today to end.
Sabine POV: I was worried about the kid he hasn't ate anything at all to day or came out of his room. Hera called a meeting and Ezra was still not here.
"Ok so I called you guys here because of Ezra something's wrong with him it's not like him to just skip breakfast and not come out of his room". She said. "Guys I sense sadness when I think about Ezra, maybe he doesn't like today". Kanan asks. "Well who would like today it's empire day". Zeb said. They kept talking but I found myself walking to his room. I knocked. "Ezra can I come in". I asks. "Sure". He says. I open the door and sat next to him on his bed. Ez what's wrong". I ask. "I don't want to talk about it". He says. "Please were all here for you we want to help you". I said. "I said I don't want to talk about it!" He yelled then stormed off.
I sighed. I stood up and was about to leave but I tripped on something and fell on the floor. I look to fine a book under Zeb bed. I grabbed the book and sat on Zeb she bed. It said"warning do not read unless you really care about Me" I guess that means I can open it. I opened it and stated to read it. "To day was the day that I lost my parents empire day". What he lost his parents. Oh. I continue to read. "And it was also my birthday so that made things to much better. I wish today would just go away" I kept reading until I finished it and was shocked. I can't believe what this kid has gone through. I put the book back and told the rest of the crew. Everyone was crying and chopped was making weird sounds. I walked around the base until I finally found him. "Hey Ezra". I said. "Hey... I'm sorry for yelling at you". He said. No it was fine I get it today isn't a good day for you". I said. "Wait you know". He ask. "I read your Journal.... I'm so sorry Ezra". I hugged him tight. "It's fine I'm glad I gave you Sabine". He said. "Ezra I love you". I said. "I love you too". And then he kissed me. I kissed back. When we broke we smiled at each other. "Sabine will you be my girlfriend". He asks me . "Yes I'd love too". I said kissing him again.
