I was sitting in class throwing paper balls at James whenever the teacher turned her back. Jame turned around and glared at me.

"Lavender do you always have to be annoying or is that just a today thing?" He whisper shouted at me.

"Oh no I'm always like this, the irritated look on your face is priceless." I smirked

"Can you two get a room already! I unlike some people want to do good on the exam."  glared Adam.

I blushed and looked down at my hands in my lap. That was Adam for you, a goody-two-shoes that could also be kind of rude. No matter it's not like I like James or anything, I've known him basically forever so it would be weird if we started dating. Besides I have my eye on someone else.

"Sorry Adam, but I can't control your lab partner so can you tell her to stop throwing stuff at me?"

Adam and I were in a few classes together, but we are lab partners in biology a.k.a. hell on Earth. Of course Adam was a straight A student who had no trouble in any class, so I usually copied his answers.

"Trust me James I am as powerless as you when it comes to her." Adam motioned his thumb at me.

"Tell me about, she's even worse when we walk home."

"Hey!!" I yelled at James.

The Teacher whipped around at looked directly at me.

"Lavender," she said in a deep assertive voice "If you can't concentrate in my class maybe you will pay attention in the principals office."

"No Miss I'm sorry I won't talk again."

"Good, that's what I thought." she turned back to the board with a smug look on her face.

 Miss Winters was always picking on me in class it's so embarrassing. Why can't she just bother someone else. I looked down at my notebook and realized I didn't have my text book out . I turned around to dig it out of my bag when I spotted Caleb looking at me from his seat in the back of class. We made eye contact and he just kept staring at me. It felt as though he could see right through me. Eventually this uncomfortable situation have a the hairs on the back of my neck standing up so I turned back around. I could still feel his gaze on the back of my head. His eyes burning through my skull.

Caleb was a quite kid he was the first one out of class when the bell rang and the last to arrive at the beginning. He lives in an apartment alone because his parents kicked him out. No one has the guts to ask why though. He just generally gives of creepy vibes and now people are saying he has a crush on me. The very thought makes my stomach twist into a thousand knots. I even suspect that he is the one leaving love letters in my locker. They started out cute saying stuff like "Your more beautiful than the sunset on a beach." and "I would rather live in a world without sunshine than you." But now they are just creepy and unsettling, with stuff like " You sleep more peacefully than an angel, I would give anything to feel your warmth that you show to him." That kind of stuff made it hard to fall asleep because I felt like someone was watching me. Luckily the notes have finally stopped, but I don't know for how long. Another thing that confused me was when the notes would talk about this other boy. I don't have a boyfriend and besides Caleb I don't think anyone has a crush on me so who could the note possibly be talking about?

My thoughts were interrupted by the bell. I packed up my bag and walked outside into the busy hallway. I pushed through the crowd to my locker. I unlocked and opened it. My heart sank to my feet. A small slip of pink paper flitted down onto the school's tiled floor. I slowly bent down and turned the note over. My eyes widened at the message scribbled in pencil on it. It read;

                                                             "See You Tonight Lovely"
