I'm shaking when I get down from my bed, thoughts running through my head rapidly. "Camp, here it comes" echos in my brain. I shake my head, curly pink strings of hair jumping in my face. I lean down to my suitcase on the floor and lug the boulder to its feet. "Can't be that bad," I say, attempting to comfort myself "it's only for... the whole summer?".

I frown as I enter the kitchen to find a bar with a banana, and there's a sticky note planted on top: 'Valery, me and your father have gone out to go on a trip of our own! We'll see you when you arrive home! Love, Mom and dad'. GREAT! Thanks mom, thanks dad, thanks for comforting me by leaving on your own "special trip" while I get kicked in the gut by the wilderness! Grumbling, I unwrap and bar and munch on it pitifully, while I stick the banana into my carry on bad I brought for the bus ride, and to eat if the food served is "Not my version of edible.".
