Chapter One
I wake up to the sound of my sister screaming. Well she is not exactly screaming, shes singing but it sounds like screaming. I live in a house that is full of windows. It is light brown and red. It is about the size of two town houses. My room is the biggest of the families. I have a huge window near my bed. I have a desk with a lamp and a laptop in the corner. I have a walk in closet across from my bed. Next to my bed I have a dresser and a laundry basket. I am 15 years old. I have dark red hair. I walk into my bathroom and grab an elastic. I tie my hair up in a messy bun. I jump in the shower and turn it to medium. When I'm done I get out and dry myself. I untie my bun and brush my hair. For some reason my sister always has pretty hair every where she goes. I finish brushing and put my hair in a low ponytail. I grab my mascara and I put a tiny bit on. I walk into my room and slip on my sweat shirt and my shorts. I run downstairs. My mom greets me and she gives me bacon and eggs. "Thank you" I mutter. "Don't just sit there talking!? EAT UP!" She says while looking in the fridge for the orange juice that she made last night. She grabs a glass and pours me some juice. I don't bother saying thank you."Well you could say thank you Riley." My mother says. I don't even reply. When I'm done eating my little sister Lily runs in. "FOOD FOOD!" She screams. I look at her in disgust while she eats. I run upstairs and text my friend Ty.
Me: Hey Ty. I don't want to bother but the first day of school is gonna start in a week so I'm thinking that we should get together sometime and like talk because I need cheering up before school.
It takes him a while to reply when I finally get a text.
Ty: Yo. I'd love to get together and talk. But I have something important to talk about. When school starts I'm kinda moving... I don't want to disappoint you but I won't be seeing you anymore after we talk because I will be packing up to move to Florida.
When I finish reading the text I have tears in eyes. Ty is my best friend! He may be a boy but who cares!! He is the best friend I have ever had! We were together since kindergarten. I wipe away my tears an I go to my laptop.
