Today I finally get to go home. I can't wait to just lay on a bed that I actually know. My mom walks in my hospital room. "Time to go." She says still worried I might fall over. She gives me a sling to hold my arm up.

I put my seat belt on and I sit there in pain. My head feels like a whirl pool. My mom puts the CD in that the doctor gave us. He said it would sooth my head a bit. The music starts. Its sounds like I just died and there's some kind of funeral. I don't like the music but if it soothes my head than I will listen to anything.

When we get home I jump out of the car. Pain lunges up my body. I slowly walk the rest of the way. When I reach the house, Lily comes running up to me. "RILEY!!" She yells pretty loud for a little girl. I walk in the house and go straight up to my room.

"Ring ring"

My phone rings constantly until I finally wake up. "Hello?" I say still in a huge ball of pain. "Hello, this is the hospital speaking." They say. I sit there and wonder how they got my number. "Hello.. can I help you?" I ask weirded out. "We would like to speak to your mother please." They say sounding so much like business people. "Ok.." I say.

I walk down and pass my mother the phone. They talk for what seems to be a long time. When they are finally done I ask what he wanted.

"They wanted to let me know that your concussion is going to get worse over the weeks. You will have a huge amount of pain once a week and we will have to rush you to the hospital." She says with tears in her eyes. I look at her. I feel like fainting. I can't believe what I just heard. I run up to my room.

"Why can't everything just be back to normal!" I cry.
