A/N: Based off of the song Starlight by Taylor Swift
"So, who is this guy?" I ask my friend Lisa, as we make our way to the boardwalk to meet some friends.
"He's Ronnie's friend, Brandon," she replied. Ronnie was Lisa's boyfriend of about three months.
"How old is he?" I ask, curious.
"16, just like us" she smiled, almost as if she was up to something.
"What are yo-"I started, but stopped when I saw a very handsome man, with short brown hair, and chocolate eyes that I couldn't seem to stop looking into. It was a minute before I realized he was staring right back.
Ronnie cleared his throat awkwardly, bringing us both back to reality.
"Hey, I'm Brandon," he said in a shy, but slick, way.
"(Y/N)," I replied, breathlessly.
I still remember that night perfectly, we didn't spend even a minute apart. We had hit it off quickly, and started dating two weeks later.

Now we are both 17, and crazy. He picked me up late at night in his tux, and helped me while I snuck out of my window in the dress and heels I had on.
We snuck into a very fancy party pretending to be a Duchess and a Prince. I can't remember what song was playing when we walked in, but I said, "Oh my, what a marvelous tune." It ended up being the best night, I'll never forget how he moved. The whole place was dressed to the nines, and all we did was dance. Like we were made of starlight.
We ended up ditching the party and went out to a lake nearby. Brandon brought his iPod, so we could listen to some music a little more our style. He was skipping rocks on the lake, talking to me. He was telling me, "Oh (Y/N), look at you, always worrying too much about things you can't change. You will end up spending your whole life singing the blues if you keep thinking that way." Just then Bette Davis Eyes, by Kim Carnes began to play. I smiled and he reached out his hand asking me if I wanted to dance. I, of course, accepted and he pulled me into his arms. As we were dancing he said, "Don't you see the starlight?"
"Of course, it's beautiful," I replied.
"Don't you dream impossible things?" He smiled, already knowing the answer.
"All the time," I smiled as he kissed me.
Then he started talking crazy, "You know, we could get married. Then we could have ten kids, and we could teach them all how to dream," I laughed at that last part. I knew he was serious about the marriage bit, but not the kids, not at 17 at least.
The whole rest of the night was spent dancing, watching the starlight, and talking about impossible things. This was the best night, and I knew I'd never forget the way that he moved.
