Run. That was the only thing going through my head. I can't stay here anymore; they see what I truly am; a freak. I have to get away; they're already calling over the teachers and calling the police. It won't be long now, before it's too late and they, to put it nicely, remove me from the area. They were starting to come closer to me, probably to get me before I could get away. Well too bad! I ran out the building to the nearby forest as fast as I possibly could go. I ran thro-

Hold on. You must be confused, sorry. Let me start from the beginning. Hi, my name is Sam Tay. I am a sophomore at Jaystream High, and my life sucks. You see, I'm what is called a hybrid, a cat hybrid to be exact. Now that may not seem so bad at first, your fast and agile, but then you realize that 99% of society hates your guts. So therefore, I have to hide my tail, ears, and fangs from everyone, even my foster family. Anyway, let's start my wonderful story, shall we?

Finally, summer is over! God, going to the beach was horrid. So much freaking water, it was so humid, too. The only good thing about summer is getting away from the jerks in school, aka everyone. Jeez, but I'd still rather be in school than at the beach. Whatever, time to get up and hate life even more with the people I highly dislike. Yay.

Here, let me describe some the wonderful and generous aspects of my school. Jaystream High has the best teachers who completely ignore you and couldn't care less if you actually learn. In fact, I think they made a bet before the school year starts to not teach at all, while still putting up the act of teaching. Also, the principle was so generous as to cut almost all classes not necessary, just because he didn't feel like paying people, even though the school has plenty of money. There are also only two main buses, all over filled. Luckily I can just walk to school.

Here I am, at the wonderful school that I attend. I just can't wait to enter the building and get instantly beat up. Might as well get it over with. As soon as I entered the building, and I mean like two milliseconds after, I get thrown into the wall by everyone's favorite jerkface, Jacob Daniels. "Hey Kitty Cat (oh the irony), how was your summer? I hope your mommy came over for a visit. Oh wait! I forgot, she doesn't care about you, you little fuck! (in the distance a faint 'LANGUAGE' is heard)" he shouted in my face after punching me a few more times, then punching me again at the end. "Go away Jacob, I don't want to deal with this crap today. And stop calling me 'Kitty Cat'!" I hissed (not literally) and left to go to my first class. Luckily he didn't follow. That's about how the rest of the day and weak went. That is, until a few days into the third weak. That day another idiot, Nathan Bent, was being crueler than usual.

It started out as a normal day. Walk into school, get beat up, go to my first class, get beat up again after class, etc. Until the end of the day came around, of course. I had just left my final class, somewhat getting ready for the beating I was about to get. I'm about to get to the door when Nathan comes out of nowhere and practically tackles me down, and continues his beating on the ground. People start to gather when suddenly I hear dozens of gasps and Nathan stops beating me to scramble away. As it turns out, the reason they gasped was simple, my hood fell down and they saw my ears.
