Chapter 2. Freedom?

I've been running through the forest for a long while now, barely avoiding trees as I pass by them. The reason being that my eyes suck. My left eye has been blind since before I can remember and my right eye is extremely blurry. You may be wondering, why don't I get glasses or contacts. Well, I would, but last I checked you can't wear a hood while getting your eyes checked. Anyway, my eye being blind is the reason I have my hair covering it. I would love to move it out of my face, but I have a strong gut feeling that something very bad would happen if I moved it away. I've learned to trust my gut, It's 99.9% correct on most matters (math being the exception sadly). Whoops, zoned out and hit a low branch from a tree. Jeez that hurt.

After about ten more annoying minutes (stupid branches), I spotted a small clearing in the corner of my vision (I am very impressed by my eye sight), so I slowed and started walking towards it. Once I got to it, I looked around the best I could.

The grass was about to my knees and was very soft. There were also a few flowers, at least that's what I think they are. Some birds were in the trees, too, singing their songs. Not bothered at all by my sudden appearance, which I was thankful for, I needed some peace. I decided this would be a good enough place to make camp for now, that is, until the police come, which will hopefully, not be for a while.

Instead of sitting an looking around any longer, I decided to make a little fort for if it rains while I'm in the area. It wouldn't be hard; all I have to do is get some fallen branches and a blanke-

Wait. I don't have anything with me other than my clothes. With nothing in my pockets.

Well. I'm in quite the predicament now. Shoot! I also just realized that I also don't have any money to buy anything, as that would be in my wallet, which is in my backpack. Oh well, I have no problem stealing anyway. That doesn't mean that I'm good at it though.

I guess I have to go to town then, it'll most likely end badly, hopefully not though. So off I went, hood up and tail hidden away. I really hope no one recognizes my hoodie, if so; I'm going to be in even bigger trouble than I already am. Hm, I wonder what else I should get from the store other than blankets. Food would be wonderful, I haven't eaten very well in forever. What kind of food shall I collect from the store? Some blueberry muffins or poptarts, preferably blueberry flavored, would be great. Oh, hey, what do you know, I'm at the edge of town. Must've zoned out, eh, whatever. It doesn't matter, let's just get this over with.

Alright, get in, get the stuff, and get out without being caught or recognized. Good luck me! Aww, thanks me! No problem me. Let's go!

Almost immediately as I stepped out of the bush things went wrong. Yay me.
