Chapter Two

Mackenzie's Pov

I ran and grabbed Maliboo. "Maia, this is my puppy, Maliboo. Miss Abby, our dance teacher, gave her to me." Maia smiled. "She's cute." "Thanks!" "Girls, we all have to keep Maia's 'inhalers' everywhere so we always have one. The hospital gave us a ton." We replied with a simple "okay" and went upstairs. We showed her our rooms and then found one that had a sign with her name on it. "This must be yours!" Maddie said. We opened the door. It was a purple bedroom, like mine, with a sign hung up on the wall that said 'Maia' and a purple and white mini tv. She had three purple suitcases with "Maia" on them with a ton of clothes on the inside on her bed. There was a note by one of the cases. 'Maia, here are some of your brand-new clothes I bought you. Hope you like your new home. -Mom'. I read it aloud to Maia and Maddie. "I love your room, Maia!" I said. "I do too." Her bed was a size in-between a twin and a queen. It had a black headboard and a purple bedspread. We walked to her closet and opened it up. It had hangers in there. "Let's put your clothes away, May! Can I call you that?" Maddie said. Maia said sure, and we put the clothes away. We put her ALDC clothes all in one spot, all of her Sally Miller tops in one spot, then organized the rest of her clothes in order. "Maia, look at this note. It has Miss Abby's handwriting." 'Miss Maia, you're on the Abby Lee Elite Competition Team with your sisters. I need you to take some classes soon, though. Enjoy your dance wear and your competition makeup. -Miss Abby.' I read this again aloud. "Where's the makeup?" Maia questioned.
