I sit here
Muse in hand
Trying to understand
Exactly where I have gone wrong.
Do I love you
Of course I do
Am I worthy
Only you can say.
Does any night go by
When I don't think of you?
Are my days
Bereft?
Ah, so many minutes
Hours and days
So many conversations
In so many ways.
Leave me to my own devices
If that is what you wish
But I shall always need you
And your electric kiss
