Later on Caroline drove over to Tyler's old mansion who he gave to his best friend Matt Donovan. She got out of the car, walked over to the steps, it took her a while for her to finally walk up the steps and knock the door. Matt came and opened the door, he was shocked to her. "Caroline, hey...come on in." Matt said. She walked in and saw Tyler, she started to get even more worried. She asked Matt to go in the other room so Tyler and her can talk, her face was so down, Tyler knew there was somthing wrong. "Hey Care." Tyler said with an sorry face. She was trying so hard to keep her tears in, but just started to bursting out. "Hey, hey, I'm so sorry that I walked out on you, I never meant to hurt you, but we can get threw this-" "No we can't." She said cutting him off.
"What is it Care?" He said in a serious tone, but Caroline doesn't answer. "Caroline, what is it?!" "I saw Klaus in the woods the day Katherine died and he told me to be honest about my feelings towards him" Caroline said nervously. "What, it's not like you kiss him or something" Tyler says with a little laughter. Caroline puts her head down, "Care, did you and him kiss or something?" "Listen," Oh my god,....... what did you have sex with him too?!" He said sarcasticly. She closes her eyes and turn her head. "Oh my god, you did, didn't you?!" "Tyler, let me explain" "noooo....Klaus,... out of all people you pick Klaus! He has killed thousands of people Caroline, Elena's aunt, a pack of hybrids, who were MY FRIENDS! Caroline, he even killed my MOM!"
Caroline looked in Tyler's eyes and saw hurt and anger, she had now regreted telling him about the situation. Tyler's anger led to rage, which brought him out of control. Caroline tried to calm Tyler down, but the thought of Klaus and her made him angrier.
Caroline started to get afraid, she even harder to tried to explain, Tyler didn't want to hear any more. Tyler's frustrations takes over, he attacks Caroline, she tried to defend herself, as he attacked her, Tyler had bitten her on her rist,
When Tyler had known what he had done, he looked at Caroline, who is starting to freak out. Tyler began to panick, he looked around, then realized that mad is in the other room, Tyler leaves, while knowing that a hybrids bite kills a vampire.
