Chapter 2: Questions

I wake up in my room with Danielle next to me. Thank goodness its just a dream I think to my self. I look over at the clock. 4:30, okay so we weren't doing anything today Conner doesn't have school. Nice, a whole day to ourselves. "Sweetie," I say "Wake up baby". Danielle sits up and starts screaming. "Shshshshshshshhh" I say trying to calm her down, "What was the dream about." I ask calmly. "It..It..It..."she stopped as Conner and Kaleb ran in " It was you bubby and daddy and i..i..i.. was w..was stuck in my closet and the..the..the house was one fire and..and all the doors.. all the doors were locked and..and..and you were all..."she started bawling"all dead and i was..was..was stuck and i couldn't breath and...and..and.." "Calm down baby. Its okay. We're okay. Everything is okay." Kaleb says calming her down. Conner comes over and scoops Danielle up in his arms and puts her in her wheelchair."We're going to go get breakfast to get our mind off of it, okay."Conner says looking at Danielle and then me and Kaleb" Okay, Kaleb can you go watch them while i get dressed." i say " Yes dear "he said in a sarcastic way to make Danielle laugh. "Okay, I will be down in a bit."
