In a recent interview with OSEN, the CEO of BigHit Entertainment, Bang PD-nim revealed that he didn't think Jungkook could debut originally. He was so shy when he was a trainee. Originally, Jungkook wouldn't even eat with the other members and waited for the other members to sleep before eating or showering. "Whenever asked to sing, Jungkook couldn't, he was too shy and he would twist his body for 15 minutes," Bang Shi Hyuk revealed. "A company evaluation said he couldn't debut because he had no talent. But now he's such a playful, fun member."
Honestly, BTS wouldn't be the same without their cute, loveable, funny, adorable, multi-talented maknae. You could argue that if BTS debuted without Jungkook, then it would seem weird with him in BTS. But I for one think that BTS would seem to lack something if Jungkook was not in the group. We wouldn't hear his smooth, beautiful voice!
