First person POV.
I had awoken to the sound of Carrie crying at the end of the bed. When she had seen that I had awoken, she came over with a big hug and screamed in pleasure voice," she's up, Catherine's up". When Mrs. Myers and Jessica came, they asked," are you ok". I said " I am fine, what happened". Jessica blurted out nervously and said "we were going to ask you the same, the doctors came and they said you were fine, you just need time to rest". I was trying to think of what had happened and I asked,"could it have been food poisoning?". Carrie said with a cautious tone "no because, well because.........". Mrs. Myers said quickly "no because you would have noticed something wrong with you before passing out and you would have been feeling more side effects than passing out". Trying to calm down Jessica walked out the door. Then Mrs. Myers asked "do you need anything, a book, something to drink, or anything to eat? I said" no " and then Mrs. Myers and Carrie walked out leaving me by myself. It was odd that Mrs. Myers asked if I needed anything, I have been sick but this was way over the top, maybe it was because of Jessica or was it because they knew something I didn't .
The next morning I woke up feeling much better, so I got up and went into the library where the other girls were. Mrs. Myers and Jessica was reading separate books to separate children. When they saw that I had been there they asked,"what are you doing up? Are you feeling better? I answered confidently, "yes, much better, thanks" Jessica gave me a sweet smile and asked " would you like some tea?" I said "yes please" and she came to me with some sweet tea and said remorsefully, "I missed you". I wondered what she meant by that, I guess it must've been because I have been sleeping. I thought back hard and I wondered about why Mrs. Myers and Jessica were being so helpful and why they were asking if I needed anything like something was seriously wrong with me. Right then I got a headache and then I thought maybe I was noticing some side effects of something, maybe even something beyond the universe.
