Walking this Earth, life is no joke
May different directions to take, but all seem good
I pray and I pray, but I don't listen to God
But if I did, then I wouldn't be in this place
This place is my reality check
God put me here and I don't blame him
My mistake was thinking that my decision was from him
I had to humble myself
I had to trust God more
I no longer ask God why
I desire his will
And his will is only what I want
I continue to search for his plan
I'm never going to let go of his hand
I did that before and I didn't get far
I had to turn around, Christ was my first love
How could I stray after all the victories He won for me?
God gave my reality check
