"We're over".
Caitlyn could feel her heart beating in her chest.
"Orion, what do you mean? What are you saying?" Caitlyn whispered, as she stared across the table, into her boyfriends hazel eyes. He stared back into her eyes, coldly. Caitlyn bit down onto her bottom lip, to prevent herself from bursting into tears.
"Caitlyn, look I just ...", Orion sighed, as he closed his eyes and ran his fingers through his curly, ebony hair, "I just don't love you anymore", Orion blurted out, as he opened his eyes and stared into Caitlyn's eyes.
Caitlyn shook her head. Her chest felt restricted and her heart was hurting. She felt like the colours in her world was fading to a dull grey.
"Orion, please, don't do this. I love you", Caitlyn weakly begged, as she tried to place her hand over Orion's. He pulled his hand away, almost as if he was disgusted by her touch.
"I'm sorry, but I'm being honest. You can't change the way I feel, Caitlyn", uttered Orion.
Caitlyn felt the tears well up and slowly drip down her face. This was it. It was over. The end. Her three year old relationship with Orion was finished.
Orion looked away from Caitlyn and stared down at the floor, as if he was embarrassed. Without saying a word he stood up from the table and headed out of the cafe doors. As he walked down the street he didn't turn around to look back.
Caitlyn watched him disappear down the street, from the window. She waited a few minutes before she stood up from the table and left the cafe. As she walked down the street, she kept her head down and continued to cry silently.
