This was KaitlinBolander idea and suggested this to me. It will be about Branch and Poppy. Lets do this! Takes place after movie.
Branch woke up in a familiar but unfamiliar surrounding. What am I doing in Poppy's bed. I went to sleep on my bed. He looked around and noted the things she had in her room like toys, paper, and anything pink. He shifted from one arm to the other and got up. He crossed a mirror and something caught his eyes. Am I pink! He backed up to the mirror and noticed he was wearing a night dress and he looked exactly like Poppy. He noticed how his hips flowed, he looked more feminine, and he didn't feel exactly the same strength. Everything just felt so different.
He walked over to Poppy closet and grabbed her light blue dress and changed. He didn't understand whats going on, but he one thing her he knew is that something is wrong. He headed to the kitchen and went to grab some food.
"Your up early, Poppy." Branch turned around to see Peppy watching him.
"What do you mean." His voice sounded higher then what it normally does.
Peppy furrowed his brows. He walked up to the survivalist and scanned him. Branch felt a little awkward under Peppy gaze. "Are you sick." Peppy felt Branch's head. Peppy shrugged his shoulders. The former king headed back to his room. Something is very wrong. Branch looked for the door and headed for his bunker. He looked down at him mat and tapped his foot to a certain pattern. The mat opened up and he walked in to see himself exploring his bunker. "Are you me?" The other Branch asked. "Poppy what's going on." Branch asked her, "Your me and I you!" Poppy looked at him. "I guess we should find a way out of this?" Poppy seemed to know his thoughts.
Poppy and Branch headed back to Poppy place to ask Peppy if he knew. They entered together and entered into Peppy room. He looked up from his work. He didn't look to thrilled to see Poppy and Branch bothering him.
"Do you know how to fix this?" Branch asked expectantly.
"What for me to intercept your hand holding." Peppy asked with amusement in his eyes.
Poppy and Branch both looked down to see their hand twinned together. Branch let go and whistled a bit and Poppy just had heat spread trough her face. "No I umm.." Branch described what happened and he ended off at the present. "Wait so your Branch in Poppy's body and Poppy in your body." Peppy seemed bewildered. "Sorry Branch I don't know what to do." Branch's heart plummeted. He felt tears rise up. He didn't want to be stuck in Poppy body. Poppy grabbed his arm and dragged him to Cooper.
"Why do we got to be here it's not like he can tell us anything."
"Trust me Branch." Poppy murmured. Poppy knocked on the door. The giraffe like trolls stick his head out. He looked directly at Branch. "Hiya, Poppy!" He examined. "I'm not Poppy!" He glared at Cooper. Poppy blocked an arm in front of Branch to keep him from being violent. Poppy then described the situation to Cooper. He nodded his head showing that he understood. "I know where to can go. Find a tent that looks purple and a troll can help." "Thanks, Cooper!" Poppy waved a farewell and headed off.
They reached the tent and a troll was meditating. Branch held his breath for the fear that it was Creek, but it turned out to be Cybil. She had her eyes close and she just stayed there. "I know why you're here, it's was right in front of you all along." Branch and Poppy exchanged a confused glace. "Just open your heart a bit more." Branch thought for a moment and knew what she meant. He shifted to look at Poppy. He moved until he could feel her warm breath across his face.
"I know what she means." Branch whispered.
He connected his lips to Poppy and felt a new feeling course through him. He parted from Poppy and felt like something was different. He looked at Poppy and realized she was in her body. That means... He lifted his hand to see his familiar blue color. He hugged Poppy excited to be back to normal. They both had excitement today.
