Andy's Perspective
It was later that night that stuff had gotten weirder. I had woken up not in the lilac prison cell I had, but a starry realm. If this was Warriors, I would've thought I was in Starclan. Instead of starry cats in front of me though, was a tall guinea pig hybrid.
Her eyes twinkled like the stars surrounding us. She smiled softly at me and dipped her head. The short, black hair she had touched the tops of her shoulders as she spoke.
"Andy, it's a pleasure to meet you," she said, smiling to herself. "Please tell Shadow that I'm okay here." She smiled softly, and I instantly knew that Shadow was SIL, the rabbit hybrid. He was... oh my gosh.
"Yes, he did love me, and misses me dearly." I knew this hybrid was Blackjack, the one who had died. She wiped one claw-like finger under her chocolate eyes. "But I come with grave news."
She gaze was serious, her eyes fading to a bright white as she spoke. It seemed like she was almost possessed."Only the blood of the Original will save the race of a mixed soul. Heed my warning, for she shall wake in the morning, and thus the tale is told."
"Animals one and all shall gather in this place, but only few will leave. Watch over everyone as they come and go, for it's the small one you should believe."
I stood there, not even knowing what to say, but I shot up in this weird bed I had gotten to sleep in. I clutched my chest, panting heavily, and listened to the sounds that had happened at 5 in morning.
Down the hall, I had heard a shriek, it sounded like someone had just witnessed a murder. I darted down the hall, freezing in front of a baby blue door. I busted the door open, which seemed like a Mary Sue thing to do.
Hey! I've gotten these people's trust!
"What's going on?!" I looked around the room.
A raccoon hybrid female with the tag "R-RS-22" held a quokka female hybrid. The tag of the quokka was covered as her eyes faded white.
"Beware of the dab, for she will kill us all. The unclean shall crawl. Pay close attention to those with red eyes, and always be ready to say your goodbyes."
"Life of the mixed soul will be tough as hell, and no one shall leave well."
"The creature of a myth shall be in the lead, with a necklace with a special bead."
"Let the myth go and take flight, for she will help us find starlight."
The two of us stood there, stunned by the second prophecy received in the experimentation.
"G-Georgia?" The raccoon hybrid inched closer. The quokka hybrid looked up, responding to the call of her name.
"What happened, Regallia?" Georgia looked up at the raccoon, rubbing her head. "Ugh, my head is killing me," she said, rubbing her short, brunette hair. The raccoon hybrid darted over to the quokka, kissing the top of her forehead.
"Georgia!" Regallia cried, hugging her girlfriend tightly. "Thank goodness you're okay!" Was the raccoon... crying?
Yes, she was in fact. I smiled softly, leaving the room and heading back to mine. The words Georgia had spoke still echoed in my mind.
"'Let the myth take flight, for she will help us find starlight?'" I pondered, wondering if the two prophecies were connected somehow. I paced around my room as soon as I had gotten back. It probably left a dent in the floor from where I was pacing.
Blackjack's words and Georgia's vision still echo in my mind to the very day. I never did find the meaning out.
"'For it's the small one you should believe?" I mused. "Are they calling me short?" I had already found out what "blood of the Original," and "the creature of the myth," meant.
Those prophecies speak of me. I stared wide-eyes at the brick wall. I've got to lead and save them. I now had all this weight put on my shoulders. I sat down and put my head in my hands.
"Innocent people are going to die," I laugh, fighting back tears. I heard a small knock on my door and looked up. The scientists didn't come until 9 o'clock that morning, and it was only 7.
In the door way, which was cracked open a bit, stood my little sister. Cam tilted her head a bit, the way she always would when curious. Her smile faded as she saw me look up.
"Andy?" She looked at me and sat down on my bed. "Are you okay?" I wiped away my tears and smiled at her.
"Yeah, just caught something in my eyes," I lied. Cam raised her eyebrow, but said nothing. After about two hours, a loud bang came on my door, like a sheriff's warrant. I jumped as the cell door was busted open and two scientists walked in.
One was a young human girl, her black hair in a bun and a clipboard in her pale hands. Beside her was a tall, thin man with ginger hair. He pushed his thin-wired glasses up the bride of his nose, the glare of the dim light making his eyes invisible.
"C'mon," he said in a harsh tone. "Get up, filth." He grabbed me by the neck and picked me up, dragging me towards an experiment room.
"There," he threw me on the floor as his assistant starts taking notes. He walked into a room with glass window stretching along the top of the wall.
"Alright, scum." A cage was plopped down in front of me. It look about as big as me, and seemed to move. "I want to see your magic. Kill what's in the cage." I looked up at the room.
"What do you mean 'kill?'" I step towards the window, an inquisitive look on my face.
"I mean 'kill,' as in 'murder the thing inside.' 'End it's life,'" the man hissed. I froze, not wanting to kill anything again.
"N-no!" I yelled, hearing the muffled cry of the hybrid inside the crate. "I won't!" I stood confidently, my eyes flaring.
"So you won't kill what's in the crate?" The man leaned over, as if to pick up what was beyond the counter, but his assistant whispered something in his ear. The man seemed intrigued by the idea, because he went on the P.A. system and called for someone. Thirteen seconds later, a buff man with a scar on his right eye entered the room. He towered over me, making me feel small.
"Let's get this over with," he growled, smirking down at me. He summoned a small orange ball of magic, and threw it in my direction. I ducked beneath the magic attack, my tail helping me do a back handspring. He started aiming punches towards me, a gun in the other hand.
"Why do you need to know how I fight?" I asked, my wings defending myself against the blows.
"Because we do," the scientist from the box seat replied, growling.
A magic bullet was fired in my direction. With my great agility, and being able to see the Matrix multiple times, I manage to, quite literally, dodge a bullet. I used a few plant vine to make myself a shield of thorns as the guy continued punching. I began to think of a game plan. I sighed, and decided to stop playing defense.
I let my thorn shield fall and shot to the sky like a bird with my wings. The wings glistened in the dark room, surrounding me with a lilac aura. I turned and summoned a bow.
"Stop. I don't want to hurt anyone!" I cried, but the man kept shooting.
"Stop it!" A meek voice called from beyond the observation room. There stood a small hamster girl.
"Cambria!"
"Alright, that's enough." The man said as he stepped out of the room. His coat draped behind him.
"Where are we going?" I said as he took me by the wrist.
