Okay, before I begin, I would like to thank the seven people who read my last chapter, and I'm just saying this fanfiction is going to be very short, at most five chapters, that's honestly how short, cause all I really wanted to do was offer a new ending where Rafe doesn't die, so ya! Well, here we go:

I blinked, did Emma say what I think she said?! I looked towards Kate and saw that she was blushing. That was all the closure I needed to make certain that I had heard Emma correctly.
"Boyfriend?" repeated Kate's mom.
"N-no, we're not d-dating or a-anything, w-we're j-just friends," I smiled slightly as I listened to Kate stumble over the words.
"No, it all makes sense," mutters Kate's mom, "You obviously like him," she says, loudly.
Kate blushes deeper, and I smirk slightly. Then, I find myself remembering our kiss oh so many years ago, before I became the Dire Magnus. The one reason my soul never bounded to the soul of the Dire Magnus was because I had known that my Kate would come to rescue me, just like she did.
I blink myself out of my memories to see that Kate is blushing even deeper than before, and Emma is tugging on my arm.
As I look down at her she whispers in my ear, "Do you actually love her?"
I am surprised at the question, and it must show on my face, because Michael, who somehow ended up on my other side, says, "Well, is that a yes or a no?"
"Yes, " I whisper so that only they can hear me, "I love her. I have since I first met her."
Emma glances at Michael who is fiddling around with a device. "Don't worry, I got it," he says as he rolls his eyes at his younger sister.
That's when I realize what happened, they recorded me saying I love Kate! I have to tell Kate how evil her siblings are. Thinking of Kate, I look to her. She is almost finished speaking with her parents.
"Come on Rafe, you can stay with us!" says Kate, beaming. For a second I am caught in how beautiful her smile is, but as soon as I recover I begin walking towards her. She starts talking about how much I'll love her home, but what she doesn't realize is that I'm already at home. As long as she is by my side, I will always be at home.

Wow, second chapter done, only about two more chapters left, maybe only one! I'm gonna update today as soon as I have the next, maybe last, chapter done.
