When I got home, I wasn't over what Freddy had said. I was phase two? Whatever that was. And Marc didn't like it. I knew that by the way she was getting on to November and Nightingale outside the bathroom.

Aaron was involved with it, whatever it was. I felt betrayed. If Aaron was involved, then that meant he and November were working together. He hated me. But he clearly didn't hate her. I wondered how long they had been working together, if they had.

Maybe that's why Marc didn't like the plan.

"Oliver!" Mom called from downstairs.

"Yeah?" I called, heading down.

"So.. have you asked her out yet? It is your birthday. She could hardly say no on your birthday"

It doesn't surprize me mom knew about my crush. She is my mother, after all. "I don't think it works like that, Mom. You should know this. And please, I've had a rough day and I'm really confused about some stuff going on"

She nods slowly, "Well we are having your party this weekend, okay sweetie?"

"Okay" I say and head back up to my room.

As I enter, I can still faintly smell November from this morning. I kind of oddly wish that I had a bottle of her perfume, just so I can spray it in here sometimes to have her scent. And then I realize how very creepy that that sounds and so I push the thought away.

I fall face first onto my bed and just my luck I hear my phone vibrate in my backpack. I debate just ignoring it and going to sleep but then I think that it could be important, so I get up and get my phone. I had received a message from November. I feel a quick squeeze in my chest and a little giddy inside. I open it.

Nov: Hey

Me: Sup Nov?

Nov: Nm, you busy?

Me: Nah, why?

Nov: Great!!!

Nov: COME OVER

Nov: NOW!!

Me: God you dont have to yell XD

Nov: Come over quick, Oli

I giggled a little at the nickname. She used to call me that when we were young, but stopped in high school. I kinda missed it.

Me: Ok

I went downstairs and looked for Mom. I couldn't find her anywhere so I just left a note saying that I had gone to November's. Hopefully she wouldn't mind.

Heading out I felt my phone buzz. November. She was telling me to hurry up. I grabbed my bike and felt my phone buzz again. Same thing. I started riding over to her house and felt my phone buzz at least 20 times before I was even halfway there. It must really be important I thought to myself. Maybe she's apologizing to me? What if something's happened?

By the time I was at her house, which took me about 6 or 7 minutes to get to, she had messaged me a grand total of 56 times. Most of them said the same thing.

I parked the bike by her porch and knocked on the door.

The door swung open with November on the other side.

"Hey, come on I have to tell you something" She said quickly and ran off, leaving me there.

I came in and closed the door behind me. I walked through the living room and went upstairs, assuming that's where she went. When I reached the top of the stairs I saw that her door was ajar and so I went in.
