Chapter 2

Lucy pov

We barely missed it, a cloud of black came out of nowhere. We slid to a stop, I look behind me, Natsu is on the ground with Zeref right behind him, wearing a black in white outfit, he's holding what looks like a book " This is the end of all fairies, for all of fiore" Zeref commands holding the book up and opening it.
Words flew out flying up into the sky, then went flying back down heading straight for Natsu "Natsu!!" i yell, Zeref is laughing, "i will be back" and just like that Zeref disappear. I hear Natsu screaming "Natsu"!! I start to run towards him " lucy don't!!!" Gray yells, when i get to Natsu, he was on his knees holding his head. Marks started to form slowly moving up his body, just standing here the heat was undesirable. i reach my hand out, as soon as the front of my palm hits his back shoulder i jumped, it was so hot, like sticking your hand in a bucket of lava. The heat was only rising.

Gray comes from behind  and throws me over to Wendy, next thing i see is fire erupting from all around Natsu.
Gray is sent flying and hits the back of a broken wall. I hear a blood curling scream in the direction natsu is coming from. As soon as i look i see two giant scaly black wings with blood red as the outline ripping their way out of his back shoulders, red scale grew on parts of his body with a few black scales, and just like that the screaming stops and the fire dies down.
oh my Mavis " Natsu!!"  

Natsu pov
-after Zeref appears-

"Shi no Hoshoku"(Death predation!!) was the last words i heard before everything went black. I awoke slowly trying to open my eyes only to be stabbed by pain "Natsu!!" lucy?? What is she doing, where am i?? What happened?? i hear laughing? "I will be back" i hear someone right over me.
The pain it's unbearable  my eyes shoot open, this pain it burns why did it burn,
" AHHHH" I  sit up holding my head. I hear someone running coming closer.
"Natsu!!" i couldn't even focus, my body felt like it was on fire,i couldn't help but scream,then everything went black.

-Natsu mind-

Where am i?? Who am i??
" you're me and i am you,and we live to serve Zeref "
Zeref??
"We are E.N.D and we are here to serve Zeref and destroy everything"
Destroy everything!?

"Natsu!!"

-back in the field-

A girl?? Who is she?? She called me Natsu?? " who is natsu"
"Destroy everything, kill everything" i hear a voice, destroy it says, kill it says.

"What do you mean?? Natsu?" The girl says. i look over to the girl, i should kill, i want to kill!! I feel power like nothing before, my only job is to serve Zeref, i am his, his creation, " I am E.N.D"

-lucy's pov-

I had to help him,  "Natsu!!" i was running to him, no plan what so ever, i could not think, Gray was still down. Wendy was busy healing him. " who is Natsu?"  I stopped right in my tracks, Natsu was looking right at me. His eyes were red no longer filled with adventure there was no light in his eyes....just red lifeless eyes  " what do you mean?? Natsu??"
" I am E.N.D" and just like that he disappeared " lucy behind you!!!" Wendy screams.
I spin around, I see Natsu but before i could do or say anything I was sent flying towards Gray and Wendy.
Landing right beside Wendy i get back up, there's no way Natsu is E.N.D, I won't believe it!! Natsu he's just standing their looking at us, with an evil smirk placed across his face.
"Natsu sto" " Lucy!" Gray interrupts me " Lucy, that's not Natsu, Natsu wouldn't attack us like that manly you he wouldn't attack you"
" we need to help him, he's still in there i know it, their has to be something we can do"
I say keeping my eyes on Natsu.

-Gray pov-

We need a plan, lucy is obviously not thinking right, I knew Natsu was E.N.D Thanks to that guy, but what can we do??  Is there even a way to save him, do we fight him?? Or run and try and get help?? If we run Natsu will probably charge at us, with that speed of his he will catch up no problem. I am almost out of magic lucy and Wendy is no match for Natsu, would they even attack him if they had to? Both of them look up to Natsu. If i stay behind i could probably hold him off with my devil slayer magic but it won't be enough to beat him, but on the bright side lucy and Wendy can go get help. I look at lucy, then at wendy, back to Natsu, Natsu has not moved, what is he thinking???
I need to think about what to do fast before he makes his move.
