I shake my head before settling back into
"Reality."
Lauren's POV
2 weeks later
So we're finally setting up getting ready for our performance but all that was on my mind was how to talk to Camila. I pace around backstage alone since everyones on stage. My mind being everywhere but where its supposed to be.
"Lauren." Normani says walking in from the stage.
I shook off all my thoughts and gathered myself together before giving her my attention.
"Yeah?" I asked as I started walking towards the darker skinned girl.
"Why arent you outside?" She asks her eyes furrowed.
"Oh I was jus-just," I was about to tell her the truth when Camila then walked in. She stared at me for a moment trying to figure out what was happening, "Ugh I was umm looking for my chapstick." I said licking my dry lips.
When she got her explanation she walked out back onto the stage. I went to check if she was far away enough to hear.
"Lauren?" Normani asks staying in her spot.
"Shes gone you can tell me now.I simply looked at her and looked back down on the floor.
"Youre still thinking about that?" She asked referring to the recent event.
"Can you blame me? I acted like a total psycho." I told her remembering my horrible state of mind 2 weeks ago.
"You were just stressed with all that happened with you and Camila and rehearsals and everything." She tried to reason with me.
"No I wasnt, maybe I was but I shouldnt have done that, I shouldv-." I let out a sigh of defeat from failing to express my emotion. "Yeah never mind."
"Im here for you when you want to talk about it k?" She said comfortingly before following Camila's lead.
---------------------------
I sat there in bed, comfortably tucked into the warm duvet still thinking about what happened. Normani still getting prepared for bed probably texting Dinah I took the time to think about it without interruption.
