Ryan heads to his favorite bar after the proposal. He requested a beer at the counter.  He sighs in embarrassment. What did you do Ryan? Are you crazy? You're dumb man.

"Bro, I heard you're engaged! Congrats!" His friend Jason acknowledged him. Ryan gave him a handshake and thanked him. Matthew overhears then walks into the scene.

"So is it true?" Ryan sighed. He then lowers his volume.

"Promise me you won't tell anyone."

"What?"

"It's a fake proposal." Matthew was surprised. 

"What? How-" He then looks around and whispers to Ryan. "Does she know? "The girl?"

"Yeah, I paid her after I saw her at the beach. But don't tell anyone."

"No worries I won't. But are you sure you can pull this off?"

"Its possible."

"But what happens if it doesn't work? Like, people find out or she backs off?"

"Matt, cous, I'll find a solution along the way.  Right now, let things flow."

"Fine. I'm just watching out for you. But how come you're doing this?"

"I'm tired of being setup by everyone. This is the only way to stop."

"It's like you're on the stage of settling down."

"Not with anyone. I don't want to get married." Ryan gave only his first reason but not all.

"Bro, if I were you I would." Matthew put his head down, as he failed to encourage his cousin. He kept going though.

"Then go-" 

"Only if there is someone out there for me. You have the chance. God did this for you. This is his way." Ryan rolled his eyes and snickered as he shook his head.

"How do you know what God wants or does? Are you his angel?" He asked with fake excitement.

"Possible. But take the chance. Who knows?"

"We both know. I don't know her. She doesn't know me."

"You don't know now, but you will."

"Whatever. But please don't tell anyone else about what I did. Let them find out on their own."

"Yes I Promise. So what's next?"

"I'm going to know the girl." Matthew then smiled as Ryan drank his beer.
