PHOEBE'S POV

This is great! I asked Annabeth (while I took a break from training) if she could teach me her techniques and she said yes!

I begin next week. Right after my birthday! I'll make sure to add her to my guest list!

Aaaah...now this is the life.

Oh, I almost forgot. me and Britney (one of Annabeth's siblings) are going to play a mortal game where you buy properties and houses later after her game with one of her siblings. I wish I'd be the winner! Although Britney won hundreds of games. (Like her sister) I can't wait!

Now, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do right now. Maybe a stroll in the woods? Yeah, I could do that.

What's more relaxing than strolling in the woods? Yeah, this maybe is sort of dangerous for me, the fact that I'm a demigod means monsters are out there looking for me.

.....

Okay, i admit it. This is a lot more dangerous than the way I thought. A manticore is after me! Oh gods, I wish I wasn't here before! 

Oh no, It's picking up speed. In just a couple of seconds it.....

It got me.

PERCY'S POV

Oh gods, what am I going to say to Mom when she finds out about this? I'll be in serious trouble.

Well, when I think about it. It wasn't my fault. She's the one who went out of the barrier. She's the one who got herself almost killed!

She should thank me though. I came after her and fought the manticore. Well, I sort of killed it after Phoebe got wounded.

So, that makes it sort of my fault.

PHOEBE'S POV

I woke up in the infirmary after 3 days of nectar and ambrosia. Good thing my wound healed already.

Britney took care of me. I guess that's what good friends do.

Thank the gods Percy killed the manticore! Though I still blame him for not doing it sooner before it wounded me.
