*PROLOGUE*

Walking down the hallways at Henderson High today is oddly different than most days. Nobody was being a conceited brat, nobody was giving me the death glare. Instead they all just stared and whispered to each other. Maybe they were asking each other the same question I was asking myself. Why am I here? My mother died two weeks ago and here I am in the place that makes me want to die most of the time. At this point I wasn't sure I knew myself. What do I know these days.

I thought about my friends Emma and Evan but I didn't really know where they were and I sure as heck wasn't walking around this huge school when I will see them in an a few hours. After five more minutes or walking I finally reached my locker. I exchanged my bag for my 1st - 4th period books.

"You know Emily's mother probably wanted to die. I mean If I had a freak show as a daughter I would to." I heard the squeaky voice of Kelsey Adams.

We didn't get along of course and we always argued and took it to pretty low levels but she has taken it to far for me. I'm done with her and her sidekicks.

I spun around on my heals and took a big step to the other side of the hallway. She looked me up and down like I had just 'tried her' but when I'm done with her she won't show her face again because of the damage. I cut my eyes at her and she mumbled "freak" under her breath. That's it, I threw my fist up and it connected with her jaw and again with her nose and she fell to the ground. Did I kill her? Maybe I got lucky and did.
