Chapter 1

Silence .... Silence every were. I looked around the battle field searching for some form of life, anything I just needed a little spark to keep me going but nothing.. The wide open field that used to be green and beautiful was now burnt to the ground the trees were striped of there color some barley holding on by a thread were they used to stand so tall most of them had fallen to the ground and hardly nothing was left of them the ground was black and ash was in the air smoke still rose from the ground and I was standing on the edge of this field helpless there was nothing I could do I whimpered knowing my home was gone, my family who had fought in this place were gone, I was alone now all connections to my pack were gone i knew they were dead I lifted my head and howled a song of sorrow a song of regret a song I poured my heart into and as soon as I was done I took off running searching , praying , hoping to find a new home but with a wolf like me finding a new home was easier said then done I was a alphas daughter a standing threat to any alpha around but I was not safe alone for deferent beast roamed the night and terrified me if there was one thing I was scared of it was the night and I was a sitting duck I had to find shelter or soon I would be dead

My paws made a soft crunch on the leaves as i stalked what I hope would be my dinner ...a sick doe had wondered a little to far from her heard and she was to soon be mine my stomach growled from hunger from not eating for 5 days the does head snapped up quickly I mentally cursed my self the doe sniffed the air and snorted looking for a sign of danger I slowly took a step forward I was now 30 yards away the doe was still alert and was listing very closely I evened my breathing I crouched down ready to jump and run the doe took a step forward my direction still unaware that the danger she was looking for was right beside her ,she turned her neck the other direction still searching I took that opportunity to lunge I lunged with everything I had and landed a good 15 yards away my paws made a loud thump as they hit the ground she snapped her head my direction and her eyes got wide and she took off I had already pressed my paws against the ground pushing my self forward again but this time to run I took off with lightening speed I was just 10 yards away I ran faster and as I got closer I pushed my paw trying to trip her her hoof caught the tip of my paw and she tumbled I quickly lunged for the throat and felt the soft crunch of her wind pipe under my teeth I thanked her and told her I was sorry in my mind I thanked god for helping me hunt and for the does life ... I ate quickly trying to force as much food down my throat as quick as I could .. I was in a packs territory witch was a big no no I had eaten half the deer when I heard a loud howl and growling .. I heard a loud snap of a branch breaking and out came several wolves all growling at me I cowered back lowered my ears and tail backed away from the carcass of the doe and crouched Down they formed a large circle around me growling snapping there teeth and daring me to move I whimpered terrified knowing all these wolves had a leader a alpha and the alpha was on his way I heard the loud running of paw prints coming near and not to soon after a very large brown wolf with black on its paws muzzle tail around his eyes and some on his back came out growling looking very pissed I whimpered louder and drooped down in submission the alpha walked up to me and stood above me growling I knew what was coming I rolled on my back exposing my neck I closed my eyes and thought of my baby brother Hayden and smiled I was ready to die I felt teeth insert my body soon another and another set and another set I felt teeth ripping into my skin my fur tearing at my flesh but before they could continued a furious growl came from somewhere and yelping sounds were heard along with snarls I look up to see a pair of shocking bright blue eyes meet mine and before I black out my mind whispers mate then darkness consumes me dragging me into a peaceful yet painful slumber
