Akabane Karma x Asano Gakushuu

The next day after Akai and Asano started their chatting.

Karma was on his way back home. But he knew the A class was gonna have just one more hour of lessons and decided to wait for Asano.

It was Saturday noon, thus he believed even Asano could calm down a bit and hang out with him since it was the weekend.

Yet when Gakushuu appeared at the front gate, not only did he not accept Karma's invitation, he completely ignored him.

Actually he was pouting a bit... Like he was angry... Karma soon gave up as Asano did enter a car to get back home...

He sighed. But he didn't get depressed knowing that at least as Akai, he could talk to the other.

Later in the afternoon he recieved a message.

Asano:
"Hello, do you have time now?"

Karma was ready to jump from happiness! He didn't expect Asano to take the initiative.

Akai:
"Asano-kun! Good afternoon! Yep! I am totally free today!"

"I see. Tomorrow is Sunday so I can talk a bit more. If you want of course."

"Ofc I want!! I just hope I am not too much of a bother!"

"Not at all. I feel like I will have a good time talking with you. :)"

For Asano to use emojis.... Karma was shook but didn't say anything.

"I am glad to hear that! So... umm... let's talk about something!"

"Y-yeah. What should we talk about?"

"Then... what's your favourite food or something?"

"I can't quite say I have a favourite food... What about Akai-san?"

"Haha! I like red peppers!"

...to put them in people's nostrils but gonna skip this detail.

"Q-quite a peculiar taste, heh..."

"I hear that a lot! Oh then how about this theme, what's your favourite anime?"

"...Anime... I don't really watch to be honest..."

"Eh!? That's such a waste! Anime is so much fun!"

"Well I had the chance to watch some when I was younger but not much... I do read manga during holidays though..."

"Heh~ That's kinda surprising!"

"Well sorry for betraying your expectations..."

"Ah no! I didn't mean that! I am kinda relieved Asano-san has human hobbies as well..."

"So you are saying studying isn't a hobby?"

"It's more like a student's job... I wouldn't call it a hobby at the very least..."

"I see... you might be right..."

He seemed less stubborn than usual... Like he was depressed...

"Oh! That's right! Summer vacation is just around the corner so how about trying playing a game? I will help you!"

"A game, eh.... I think I would enjoy that if it's a well made game but unfortunately I had a big failure at school just the other day and need to study."

"Hey hey.... I heard from Karma-kun you still got first place though!"

"But I lost a bet. I have to try harder."

"Hmm.... I understand... too bad... I really wanted to try this new game with a friend too...."

"Ah..."

"I-it's okay! I will just have to play it alone..."

"A-after all I will do it! I feel like I will have fun playing with Akai-san!"

That was when Karma understood. Asano was that kind of person that didn't know how to say no to his friends. And that also meant he considered Akai as a friend.

Karma felt a bit saddened using that to his advantage but had no intention of stopping his acting here.

They would become gaming buddies when summer starts, in about a week.

The two continued talking till 2 am that day. They said good night and went to sleep...
