Dear Andi Riddle,

I am CaraBella Cullinns. I'm not sure if your English teacher has talked to you about the situation yet, but I'm in need of a pen pal, and your teacher said you'd be the person to write to. She said you liked writing, was a good student, and that you and I would probably get along well.

Anyway, my situation is unique. I'm a zingaro, which is a certain kind of gypsy. It's a little hard to explain, but my family and I travel around like gypsies, but our beliefs are different than other gypsy strands.

I've been taught with your class ever since kindergarten. We've used technology and the postal service to get the lesson plans and such as we traveled. My parents pretty much taught me the first few grades, but time went on, I began to take on schooling myself and video chatting the teachers.

I was video chatting our English teacher last week and I brought up that I didn't know much about how normal school life worked and that it'd be interesting to learn. She had the idea of receiving a pen pal, and you came to mind.

So...that's how this letter came to be written and given to you.

I love traveling, learning, writing, horses, and wolves. I have a service dog for mental breakdowns. She's a Border Collie named Ella, My favorite colors are red and yellow. My favorite music artists are Sam Hunt, Kane Brown, and Andres Segovia. I play the guitar, sing, and know a couple languages. I'm not sure if any of that is your kind of normal, but it's only fair that I give you information about me if I ask you for information.

I'm in Tucson, Arizona right now. It's dry and warm, like the desert it is. There's lots of people here, and most are friendly. We just arrived about an hour ago, and we're planning on staying at Tanque Verde Ranch. We're really good friends with the owners, and visit every time we're close.

I'll talk to you soon, I guess. I hope you're doing well.

Yours truly,

CaraBella Cullinns
