Dear CaraBella Cullinns,
It's great to meet you! I've been waiting for your letter. I've never exactly had a pen pal before, so this is new for me. I don't really know what to say....
I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Galway, Ireland, and moved to the States just last year. My favourite colours are scarlet and emerald green, and my favourite musicians are Shawn Mendes, Troye Sivan, and Ed Sheeran. Especially Ed. I have a LOT more, but that would take up my entire letter; I'm constantly listening to music, even as I write this.
I love to sing. My friends and family say that I'm good at it, but I don't really believe that. I can play the guitar, drums, and ukulele, and am learning the violin. I often find myself writing songs. I also love to write, and am almost constantly doing it.
Tucson, eh? I've never been. I haven't traveled at all since I moved to the US. Don't get me wrong, I quite enjoy it here, but I really miss Galway.... I traveled often back in Ireland -- I've been to London, Brighton, Birmingham, and Athlone, to name a few places. It's lovely in the UK, I can't wait to visit.
It's a bit daunting being here in the US. I wouldn't say I'm popular, but I get a lot of attention from being from a different country. It actually gets rather annoying, being asked to repeat certain words because I apparently "speak funny". Personally, I don't see the humour, but maybe it's an American thing?
Sorry, I didn't mean to insult you. Hopefully I didn't. If I did, I apologise profusely. That wasn't my intent.
Anyway, what's your family life like? As in, do you have any siblings? I do. I have two brothers, Tobias and Orion. They still live in Galway with our mum.
I moved here with just my father; Mum and Dad got a divorce, and I suppose he couldn't even stand being in the same country as Mum. He got full custody of me and was able to leave to the US with me, but Mum had gotten custody of my brothers. I miss them a lot, I really do....
You said you had a service dog, Ella? Why do you need her, if you don't mind me asking? I have a dog, as well, an Irish Wolfhound named Sirius. He's my best friend; the two of us are nearly inseparable. He's not a certified emotional support dog, but it's what he functions as for me. I have depression and anxiety, you see.
Was that too much information? I may have to erase it....
I guess that's enough information for now.
Hey, do you want to do a question thing? Every time we end a letter, we ask a question, and the other's letter has to start with the answer and end with another question. It seems fun enough, but maybe that's just me.
I hope you're doing well. I can't wait for your response.
Sincerely,
Andi Riddle
(A/N: hey guys, it's Panda! This is the first story that I've posted, and I'm quite proud of it so far. It would be great to get some feedback; constructive criticism is always appreciated. Thanks, loves!)
