*Leia's POV*
"I'll miss you, Honey," My dad hugged me tight first, then my mom. They teared up as they got in the car. I waved goodbye as they pulled out of New York Junior High Academy's parking lot.
I would've head to my new room, but I had to wait for my three best friends to meet me here-Ambria, Brin, and Harlow. Coincidentally, me and Harlow were roommates, Ambria and Harlow were roommates. Plus, our rooms were right across the hall from each other.
"PRINCESS LEIA!!!!!!!" A squeaky voice called. I saw Brinley Berlin running towards me, her perfect brown curls flying behind her.
My friends called my Princess Leia (1-Cuz my name was Leia. 2-Cuz I loved Star Wars). I met Brin first-she was my roommate in sixth grade, where we first met.
Brin was gorgeous, the prettiest girl I had ever even seen. She didn't even wear makeup. When it came to her looks, Brin was flawless.
Brinley had white teeth that were perfectly straight-she got braces when she was only eight years old. Her skin was a perfectly even, golden tone. She didn't have a single blackhead, whitehead, or pimple. Her lips were nice and plump. Brin's cheekbones stood out even when she wasn't even smiling, and they were nice and high. Her cheeks were naturally rosy, her eyes a glimmering ocean blue.
Brin had the best hair, too. It was a light brown color, that was always in perfect curls, and she didn't even curl her hair, ever. They were natural curls, and her hair reached just below her shoulders. Brinley always wore a headband-always. Today, it was a red one.
But when it came past that, her looks....Brin was the stupidest girl I had ever met. I loved her, but she was a total airhead and ditz.
When Brin finally reached me, she dropped her bags and flung herself into me. I lived in New York, just about an hour away from here. Brin lived in New Orleans, so like my other friends, I didn't see her at all over the summer.
"Brin! It's so good to see you! I missed you sooooo much!" I squealed.
"I missed you times a gazillion, million, katrillion, fillion, infinity and beyond!" Brin giggled.
"Yup. I just can't wait for Ambria and Har-"
I was interrupted when two girls screamed in mine and Brinley's ears. We both screamed.
"Oh my gosh!" Brinley squealed. "Amby and Har-Har!"
We all got together in one group hug.
We were reunited. Us four, best friends forever. I thought this year, our eighth grade year, was going to be perfect.
At this point, I didn't know I couldn't have been more wrong.
