*Leia's POV*

*The above picture is what Harlow's hair looks like :)*

After we went to our rooms and unpacked some stuff, we went to the cafe to eat.  On the way there, at least five different boys stopped us and started chatting up Brin.  She programmed all their numbers in her iPhone.

"So....I think I might get the...um....gr-i....um...." Brinley stared at the menu, trying to figure out how to say grilled cheese sandwich.

"Grilled cheese sandwich?"  Ambria said blandly.

"Yeah, that," Brin pulled out her phone and started texting away, giggling.

"Who are you texting?"  Harlow asked.

"I dunno.  I think one of the guys I met earlier..."

"Don't you have his contact saved?"

"No....I didn't get any of their names.  Oops."

I rolled my eyes.  "Just ask for their names."

Ambria shook her head.  "That's so embarrassing.  Here, Brin, give me your phone."

Brin handed her phone to Ambria.  Ambria texted away and hit send.

"What did you put?"

Ambria glanced down at the screen.  "Hey!  Soo sorry, but my friend Ambria hacked my phone and changed all of my contacts names to Yoda!  Mind telling me who this is, so I could change it back?"

"Eeeee!  Thanks Amby!  Mind texting that same message to the other guys, too."

Ambria rolled her eyes playfully and nodded.  She repeated the process and handed the phone back to Brinley.

"Once they respond telling you their names, just save their contact."

"I know, Ambria.  I'm not, like, stupid."  Us three exchanged a look when Brin looked away.

"I'm so excited that we're going to go to highschool together next year, too."  Harlow closed the menu.

"I know," I took a sip from my water.  "And this summer, we should all meet up somewhere and spend part of our vacation together."

"Totally."  Brin nodded.

Ambria nodded.  "Well, we have all school year together for now."

                                                                 *****

It was night.  Me and Harlow were in our room, and she was talking about her two-week long vacation to Hawaii.  She went to her sister's wedding.

"I cried," Harlow laughed at herself.

I laughed with her.  "Why?  Aren't weddings supposed to be happy?"

"I know, but my sister's all grown up, and it was sad.  We've been through so much together."

I nodded, as if I knew, but I didn't.  I was an only child.

"So, yeah, anyways, it was sad, but fun.  Man, I can't believe in one day Brin got some many new number's in her phone."

I shrugged.  "I can.  She's so beautiful, no one can keep their eyes off her."

Harlow sighed.  "I wished me an Brinley could switch appearances.  Even for a day."

"I think every girl who's ever laid eyes on that ditzy girl has thought that.  I mean, no offense, as much as I love her, Brinley is so stupid.  Honestly....yeah."

"I know.  She's had so many boyfriends, but they've only dated her because of her looks.  Notice how her and all her guys have only lasted for like, a week.  They break-up with her after they realize how dumb she is."

I kinda felt bad talking trash about Brin like this, but then again me, Ambria and Harlow always talked about her like this when she wasn't around.

"So yeah, anyways-" Harlow was interrupted by a knock on the door.  "Come in!"

Ambria and Brin entered.  I prayed that Brin hadn't heard what we had said about her.  But by the smile placed on her face, I was pretty sure that she hadn't.

Ambria made her way over and sat down on my bed, twirling an auburn colored braid around her finger.

I watched Harlow as she got up and got a water bottle from the mini fridge.  She tucked her ear length silver blonde hair behind her ears, but it wasn't long enough to stay in place.

I thought Harlow had such good hair, even though it looked so unnatural. She died and cut it towards the end of 7th grade last year.  Before, it was her natural hair color, and orangey-red.  It was long, going past the small of her back.

Her mom was a hair stylist, so she got it died a silvery-blonde and cut it just below her ears. It She kept it that way-every time it would grow a littler longer, she would keep cutting it back to size.

"Ambria, I just made my bed," I whined.  I was sitting at my desk, spinning around in my purple wheely chair.

Ambria smiled. "Sorry.  But I'm staying here."  She rolled over and made herself comfy.

Brin sat on the ground, giggling at her phone, texting away.  "Guess who just got a boyfriend?"

"Already?  Who?"

Brin twirled her curly brown hair that was up in a high ponytail.  "Jason.  We met earlier today, on the way to the café.  He just asked me out."

We all were staring at her, until Harlow broke the silence.  "But you just met him.  Today."

Brin shrugged as if it were no problem.  "Harlow, what do you know about boyfriends and love?"

Harlow rolled her small gray eyes and scratched her freckled cheek.  "Guess the café's doing some luck for you, Brinley Berlin."

Brinley smiled like a champion.  "Café's are very  lucky."
