I am awoken by the sound of my phone...

"It's 5:00 in the freaking morning! Who the hell is- oh. Oh god.."

I answer and quickly put my cellphone to my ear, I'm about halfway through the word "Hello?" before I hear my little sister screaming frantically on the other end of the line.

"Daniella? Are you there? Please tell me you're ok!"

"Kayla, I'm fine. What's going on? Where are you at?" I'm semi-nervous as I ask my questions. She never calls this late unless something is extremely wrong.

"Its Shaw... Oh.. God.. Daniella I... Need y-"

She gets cut off by a bunch of yelling and loud footsteps, I debate on saying her name or not. If someone is there that she's hiding from I don't want to draw attention to wherever the hell she is.

"Dani?"

"I'm here sweetheart, I'm here. What is it?"

"Daniella, come to the old warehouse. Where Trixie had our meetings. Please please please hurry Dani!"

Trixie was the leader of our group, we all went clubbing one night and ended up in the middle of a bar fight. Mikayla, leader of our rivals, shot her. The EMTs got there way to late and she didn't make it... It was a hard night for all of us and all of our lives changed somehow because of it.

I get in my Jeep and borderline sped my way over to the place she told me to go to. I pass a few cops but the police in this town are all lowlifes that spend more time breaking the law their selves than they do enforcing it. I pull into the parking yard and hurriedly step out. I don't bother locking my car, the top's off so it wouldn't really matter if I did. I arrive at the door, open it, and what I see rips my heart to shreds...

"Dani! It's bad Dani! Dani---" I could barely decipher most of what she was saying from all the crying she was doing. She runs to me and jumps into my arms, wrapping her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck, hugging me tightly as she cries and shakes violently in my arms. I look over her shoulder and see our little sister, Shaw, in a puddle of blood. I don't know whether to run to her side, fall to my knees, or try my best to stay composed for Kayla. I can't do either one, its hard for me to move.. It's my job to be the strong one, I've never given my sisters the responsibility of strength in these situations. I rarely cry, but tears uncontrollably begin to stream down my face in spite of my attempt to bite them back. I back up towards the wall. Once I find it I slide down to the floor, Kayla now sitting on my lap with her head on my shoulder. We both cried harder and held each other tighter.

I wake up with Kayla still in my lap, in a deep sleep. We needed to get out of that warehouse, the smell of Shaw's corpse was spreading. It smelled horrible but I didn't want to leave her. I had a feeling deep in my gut that she needed some kind of help, but I didn't know what kind of help. I decide to wake Kayla up and call my fiance, Bradley. I needed to see him, now.

"Why are we leaving her here? We cant just go, call someone!"

"I'm gonna call Brad, he'll know what to do. We need to go outside first though, connection sucks in this damn building."

One call, no answer. Two calls, no answer. Three calls, no answer...... Fourteen calls later, still no answer. I'm on the road on my way to his condo now because when he didn't pick up I immediately assumed that they got him, too. I want to ask Kayla what happened but I know shes not ready to talk about it, she's barely talked at all. And the very few words she has said were whispered.
