School

My eyes flutter open hearing the annoying blare of the alarm I turn it off

I look over and see Bonnie, Elena, and Caroline all sleeping and me being the ass I am I push Bonnie making them all fall off the bed

They all fall on the ground and groan "Hayley!" They all yell I giggle and run down the stairs into the kitchen

I see Damon, Jenna, and Stefan all talking and cooking and they all look at me "Uh Hi" I say

I hear foot steps come down the stairs fast "There she is" I hear Caroline yell "Shit!" I yell as they all chase me giggling and running around the kitchen

Stefan and Damon look confused again as they watch us run around the kitchen like five year olds

I feel hands wrap around my waist lifting me up and I laugh uncontrollably

"Girls stop acting like little kids!" Jenna laughs and we all giggle

"Now get ready for school" she says that word makes me freeze

She looks at me with a concerned look "Are you ready to go back if you wa-" I cut her off "No it's fine" I say walking upstairs getting dressed

I walk downstairs and see everyone standing by the door

"Let's go" I say walking out the door
I can basically feel their eyes burning into my back wondering if I'm okay, and I'll tell them the same thing I've told everyone since my parents passed

At School

As I walk through the halls I feel all the eyes burn into me wondering what I was doing here

Elena must have noticed my uncomfortableness cause she grabbed my hand and gave me a reassuring smile

"Hey you guys can go to class I have to go get my schedule anyway" I say "Are you sure" Bonnie asks "Yeah I'm a big girl I can handle myself" I say laughing and I walk to the office

I get my schedule and walk out bumping into someone "I'm sorry-" "Oh my gosh! Hayley!" I look up and see a blonde girl I've never talked to "Uh hi?" "Oh my gosh I heard you were doing drugs is that true?" "What? No I-" "Hayley?" "Is that Hayley?" "What's up Hayley?" People started surrounding me asking me a bunch of questions I felt someone grab my shoulder I turn around pushing the person against the lockers

Everyone quiets down and I look around seeing them stare at me so I run down the hall running out the doors and into the woods by the school

I stop at a tree and lean against it and stare at the sky breathing heavily I pull at my hair anger and rage fill me as I feel my eyes tingle

I scream out punching a tree sending it flying to the ground with a loud thud

Crap

I look around and make sure no one was watching lucky for me no one was around

"Oh great" I say to myself

"Well well" I turn to see a man with blonde hair and blue eyes with a thick British accent

He walks over to the tree touching the roots

"Someone has a bit of an anger issue don't you love?" He says

"Who are you?" I ask confidence filled my voice, he doesn't scare me

He smirks and walks closer grabbing my hand "Klaus Mikaelson darling" he says placing a gently kiss and my knuckles

"And who may you be love?" He asks

"Hayley Gilbert" he looks at me amused 

"Beautiful name" he says smirking

"Well, may we meet again Hayley" he says and he speeds off

Back at the school

I'm currently at the field sitting on the bleachers waiting for the guys to start practice

I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn my head slightly to see Elena

"Hey" she says softly "Hey" I say smiling

"So Stefan told me what happened" she says looking at me and I just stare straight forward

"I don't know what your talking about I'm perfectly fine" I say blankly

"Hayley you can talk-" "I said I'm fine Elena" I say cutting her off

Just then the guys come out and I see Stefan walking with Tyler and Matt

"Stefan's in the team?" I ask Elena still looking at them walking

"Since he came here a year ago" she replies

The guys do their warmups and stretches then start practice

"why do you like watching the guys practice so much?" Elena asks

"Well I don't know it's just something I've always enjoyed since we were kids" I say shrugging my shoulders

I look back at the field and see some guys go up to Tyler, they get into a heated conversation, suddenly the guy talking to him throws a punch

Rage and anger fills me, I stare at the guys who punched him, focusing all my anger on him, he falls to the floor screaming in pain

I feel something trickle down my nose but I ignore it, suddenly I feel Elena start to shake me

I come out of my trance wiping my nose looking at my hand and see blood, I get up "I need to go" I walk across the bleachers onto the field

I see the guy who hit Tyler standing up rubbing his head I snap my head towards him and he flys backwards falling on his back groaning

I walk through the door luckily no one was inside I go to the bathroom looking at myself

I turn on the faucet and splash my face with water, I look back in the mirror and it shatters

I run out of the bathroom bumping into a hard chest, looking up I see Stefan with a concerning look on his face

"Hey you ok?" "Yeah I'm fine" I try to push past him but he stops me

"Your not-" I send him flying into the lockers my eyes tingling

He looks at me confused "Please don't tell anyone" I say in a whisper tone

Running out the doors back to the woods
