Chapter 11✔

*Ji-ae's POV*

I woke up, did my usuals and I changed into some sweatpants and an oversized shirt.

I went downstairs to eat breakfast, but what I saw made my heart stop.

There was my own mother, crying.

The last time I saw Mom cry, was the day my dad left us.

Now, seeing her in this situation makes me want to punch the one who made her like this.

I ran towards her and held her tight.

"Mom, what happened? Are you okay? Why are you crying?" I said as so many questions left my mouth.

"Oh, it's nothing, my dear." She wiped her tears as she tried to smile.

"No, mom. Tell me, who did this to you?" I demmanded, wiping her fallen tears with my thumb.

"It's Hyejin." I turned around and saw Hoseok standing behind me.

"Wha-What?" I stammered.

"Explain." I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the living room.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Earlier in the morning, we found Hyejin with some stranger in her room. Completely naked. They must've been drunk, since Hyejin couldn't do that to mom."

"But-"

"Just listen, okay? So, the reason why Mom is crying, its because she ripped the adoption papers of Hyejin and she couldn't forgive herself for doing that. She loved Hyejin like her own, you know."

"We gotta find Hyejin! Hoseok, help me." I said.

"For what reason? Why'd you have to go find her?" he snapped at me.

I flinched a little then said, "She's my sister, Hoseok. I couldn't just move on, without even saying goodbye." I spoke softly, tears started to form in my eyes.

He let out a sigh. "Okay, fine."

"Tell mom we're going out." he said as he went to find his keys.

"Mom? Is it okay for you if me and Hoseok can go out for awhile?" I called out.

"Yes you can, my dears. Be careful" she answered.

"Come on."

"ARGH! Can't you text her?" I whined.

"Can't you see I'm driving?" he mocked me.

"You text her." he said.

"Fine."
