Spring was ending, summer is right next door. I couldn't help, but think about my senior year. Are you gonna take me to prom, am I gonna graduate? All these questions are coming to a end.

"Fern, are you done? You've been staring at that pancake for a while."

"Yeah, I'm done." I said, looking at my brother.

"Then get up already! Henson wants me there early!"

"Okay, okay." I rolled my eyes while Brandon pulled me up by the right arm.

As we walked into the foyer, Ben and Gina both waved goodbye. (Our Happily Married Maid and Butler)

Ben and Gina has always been my second parents. My mother was never here for me, and my father is gone. My brother was always my mother's favorite twin and I was always my father's favorite. It was easy to tell, I sometimes even think that my father was my own best friend, not my dad. It's sad to see the person you love the most goes away. I'm glad Ben and Gina was there when I needed them the most.

After losing my dad, I lost my friends. My brother was always a social person, I mean parties everyday social. Me on the other hand, I'm the anti social princess. The reason why I hate having friends is because they use me for money and my brother's attention. It sucks being the twin of the hottest guy in school.

As Brandon drove through the city's skyscrapers, I watch the city buildings go by. As I looked up, I read the signs "Lando Industry". That one building is the only thing my father left behind. I couldn't think of the day when they finally sell my father's company. It was my father's master piece, my father's worth in life. Having my last name up on that sign was a blessing, nothing else.

"You've been acting strange little si-" Brandon tried to say, before interrupting him.

"I'm your little sis by 7 minutes, why do you remind me every second of my life!?" I questioned.

"But seriously, what's up?" He asked.

"I'm just tired." I murmured back.

"Hahaha, Fern Lando. Tired!? You mean the girl who sleeps at 9:00 pm, is tired!? Are you serious!!" Brandon shouted in a confused way.
P
"Piss off, I had homework..."

"Wow, you've finally did your homework last minute. What a bad girl." He snickered at me.

"Shut up, we get it, I'm a goodie." I crossed my legs and arms, looking out the car window.

"Look, I'm sorry. I've went too far. You know dad wouldn't wa-"

"I'm seriously about to open the door and roll out! Why is this car ride so long!!?"

Brandon stood quiet for the rest of the car ride. I was actually enjoying having a quiet car ride for once. I kind of felt bad for shouting, but felt good at the same time.

For the rest of the car ride, I plugged my ears with my earbuds and read my book the whole time.

"We're here." Brandon called out to me, pulling my right earbud.

I stepped out of the car looking at the crowd of freshman and sophomores. I could easily tell they were looking at my brother.

"See yah," Brandon quietly said right next to me.

"Yeah," I tugged on my sleeves.

I slowly walked the steps of the entrance. I then put my hands on the handle, looking back at my brother. I stared at the person next to him, Henson. For some reason, I have a huge crush on him. My brother's best friend, I know, I'm crazy.
