I sat alone in Sean's bedroom, toying with his sheets, unable to think of what to do. I sighed, changing out of your clothes from yesterday and putting on a new set of clothes.

Putting away the clothes I had worn, a knock sounded at the door. "(Y/N)?" As he said your name, I could feel I could feel myself weaken, just by his words. I hummed out loud in response, signifying i wasnt dead, or whatever. "oh, okay, you're awake." his voice trailed off for a moment. "i thought you might've fallen asleep, just checking in, sorry."

The ' sorry ' i heard pierced my heart. "why are you sorry?" "i dunno, this is my apartment but i feel like I've been  a bother to you, an annoyance." he stated, leaning against the door. My tongue became thick in my mouth as i stood, not sure what else to say. "okay, im coming out" and in one swift act i opened up the door. Sean stood there, fragile. Everyone knew he wasn't comfortable with confronting or being straight forward when it came to these things.

He looked like a baby, his soft, ocean blue eyes glimmered and it sent a rush of giddy into the pits of my stomach. i wanted to cradle him and tell him it was okay. i didn't.

But we're too damn sober
For mistakes like this.

"im sorry," he bit at his nail, "don't be sorry, it's okay. would you like to watch a movie?" Sean's eyes lit up "I'd love to." "alright then," i said, grabbing his arm and leading him down the steps into the living room. "what would you like to watch, miss (y/n)?" "hm.. how about (y/f/m)?" sean nodded, grabbing the remote and putting on Netflix. "you find it, i can make popcorn." i agreed and did so.

I could've sworn he drifted off to sleep once or twice, "...m not asleep, resting my eyes." "its okay," i said reassuringly, "go ahead." i was tempted to hold his hand or place a kiss on his forehead.

i never did.
