Man I can't believe that happened. Madison and I decided to talk about our crushes in code names. Obviously Gavin is Cake and her crush, Chase, is Candle.

I have to run to Madison so I can tell her what the fuck just happened like Jesus Christ. I was walking down the empty hallway so fast I didn't realize that someone pulled out in front of me.

I didn't have time to stop. I ran right into the person. We fell to the ground. I landed on top of this persons..... butt. It's nice it helped my...... holy shit I'm on top of Gavin!!!

I made it to Algebra with out crashing into someone else. I walked into the room and saw Madison sitting in her usual seat.

"Madison, you'll never guess what happened!"

I told her every thing. She ewed at the Malachi part and awed at the Cake part.

I knew she was lying. I know my best friend. Even the bad parts, about her home life, her stepdad. She doesn't know that I know about her cutting, but I do I can see right through her. I'm just very awkward about trying to help people.

I went through the same thing when my dad killed himself over my mom. I thought that I should do the same, but then after cutting for a while, I realized how much people cared and how much more I can do instead of lay back and watch the world go by.

I put a hand on her shoulder
"Something will happen between you guys soon. You'll see. It gets better."

She smiled at me with small tears in her eyes. She's trying to hide them but like I said. I know her enough to know something's wrong. I could tell she cut because she's wearing long sleeves, and it's spring. I just don't know what to do.
