Stella awoke in her room and saw the dress hung on the back of her door. It was real, she thought. She thought of the boy she danced with last night, son of spring, Kaleb. She wanted to see him again. There was a week of celebrations with all of the courts, starting with The Ball. Today was like a bonfire. Each event is held in specific courts, except the Ball. The bonfire was in Night Court. Everyone would arrive at lunch and head to Velaris. It was nearly lunch so Stella put on her outfit, it was a small one not too fancy but fancy enough to draw the Spring Court prince's eyes.

She went out to see that Summer, Dawn, Day, Winter, and Autumn Court had arrived. Spring Court may be here soon she thought. Stella made her way to the kitchen. The snacks looked delicious, so she put a few in her bag and head to town. She had her paints with her. She decided to paint to pass the time. She tried to wait patiently for Kaleb, but making the time go faster seemed easier.

She painted for what seemed like hours. She felt someone look at her. Stella turned around to see the Son of Spring. He wore a beautiful shirt.

The outfit fit him perfectly.

"Well isn't it the beautiful Stella Starling." He said. She blushed before she could say anything.

"I've been looking for you. I thought you'd hide, but here you are making beautiful artwork." He said. He admired the painting.

"Here, it's for you." She said as she handed the picture she painted. It was Velaris. A way for him to remember the Daughter of Night.

"Thank you." He said.

"Wanna head to lunch?" He asked. She nodded as she gathered her paints and brushes.

"You are a talented lass." He said. She gave him a small smile. They head to the dinning hall. It was only used when there were big events. There were sandwiches and snacks and lovely foods. Stella grabbed a little bit to eat. Kaleb grabbed two plate fulls.

"Mother said we aren't allowed to eat a lot because it will draw attention, but I am famished." He said to his star. He thought about her all last night. He thought she looked ravishing. Her hair was in a braid. Kaleb grabbed her braid and felt it's luscious beauty.

"You're beautiful." He said. She looked down as her cheeks started to blush. He kissed her cheek.

"No need to hide your beauty." He whispered. She looked up and smiled with confidence.

Lucien looked over at his god son. He say happiness, but knew that Tamlin wouldn't approve. He was still angry Feyre chose Rhysand over him. He never understood that they were mates. While Feyre was spying on the Spring Court High Fae, she was pregnant. Lucien was the only one who knew.

He glanced back over to the two young loves. They were mates and he knew it. Kaleb knew, but it could only work if she was Fae.

"So, tell me. What is your favorite thing about the Night Court?" Kaleb asked the little star.

"The stars." She replied. It was getting dark already and they gazed at the Stars. Stella loved the stars so much. She used to gaze all night some nights.

"The only star I can see is Stella Starling. She is the brightest star in the night." Kaleb said. Stella looked over at the Spring Court flower. He leaned in and their lips brushed each other's before he finally removed the space between their lips. It was a perfect match.

Tamlin saw his son kiss the star. He didn't approve.

"Let them be." Lucien told him.

"He needs to get away." Tamlin rasped at Lucien.

"Stop denying that you have a family. Stella is her and his daughter. Kaleb is your son. Accept it. Your son has a mate. Be happy for him." He told the High Fae.

Kaleb back away and put his forehead on hers. The fire made her skin glow.

"I never knew kissing a star was so marvelous." He told her.

"I never knew kissing a flower would be so delightful." She said.

The flower and the star danced all night. They never knew how much they loved each other till it may be too late, but for now, they were happy. Good night flower and star.
