After life treating her horribly in the last few months. After going through the motions of work, marriage and public persona, Lana had finally found a moment to breath in the form of a trip far away from home. Being in Vancouver after Sean left, again, has been quite the torture for her. Her temporary cocoon of light was taken away from her and this time there wasn't much for her to do about it.

Missing him gets worse everyday but now, for the following weeks she'll get to see him, to talk to him, to see his smile and feel his warming touch against her skin.

Barcelona couldn't get here any sooner.

After another strain conversation with Fred, Lana was off to the other side of the world, temporarily leaving behind her problematic marriage. Each day gets worse, but she hopes that upon her return, things with Fred will get better. But she sincerely doubts it, so she puts it out of her mind and opts by enjoying her con season vacation.

The first thing she did upon arrival was text Rebecca that she touched Spanish soil and the second to check in and try to not fall asleep. Lana focused on the view in her hotel room, the serenity Barcelona had to offered. She smelled peace and freedom, something she hasn't in long time. Her eyes fell shut, allowing the breeze in the balcony to touch her skin and the sun to warm her soul. It wasn't until her phone rang that she stepped out of her headspace long enough to see that Rebecca had texted her back.

"Meet up for lunch?" Read the text to which Lana smiled, typing quickly back.

"Meet you downstairs in a few."

Lana was quick to grab her purse and kept her phone in hand as she walked out of her hotel room. For a moment she forgot that she was going to see Sean this weekend, perhaps it was because she was hungry and in need of substance. Whatever it was, made her nerves disappeared. Seeing him after so many months had been churning at her insides throughout the entire flight.

As she stepped into the restaurant, Lana eyes scanned the area in search of her ginger, British friend. "Lana!" She heard someone call her name and when she turned to the right, there she was. The brunette quicken her steps a little, reaching the table with a big smile.

"One would think we haven't seen each other in years." Lana teased, placing her purse down on the chair she was going to claim so she could be able to hug Rebecca tight. The ginger went willingly into her arms, giggling in the process.

"You know I'm always happy to see you." The ginger's thick accent was like a balm of sweet and fresh air. Something familiar in an unfamiliar land always did hit the spot. "Likewise." Lana said, finally stepping back, picking up her purse to sit down on the chair it was previously on. "You look like you've been having fun." The brunette grinned. She could see in Rebecca's face that her little excursion had been a good idea. It would seem like getting out of Vancouver would make anyone happy after weeks of constant cold and long hours. Relaxing, breathing and sight seeing most definitely did the trick for her friend. Lana got rewarded with a smile to her little statement, chuckling as she placed the purse in a place where it wouldn't bother the pair. "Are you kidding me? It has been bloody amazing. Somehow I do not miss the cold in Vancouver." Rebecca spoke, followed by a chuckle that made Lana laughed a bit.

"I figured as much."

The brunette picked up her menu, eyeing it closely. The silence between them at the moment was comfortable. Lana could never feel any other way when it was with Rebecca. They've become close friends, something she needed so much. It didn't have to do anything with the fact that Sean considered her a sister, or the fact that she is one of her co-stars that knows the truth about them. Rebecca was truly a god sent gift after her life took a rollercoaster ride. It wasn't easy for Lana to open up to just anyone about her feelings, in that particular thing Lana and Regina were exactly the same, which made her playing that role the more easier. After a while, She could feel Rebecca's eyes on her, studying her closely. "Yes, sis?" Lana smirked, looking over her menu. Rebecca grinned.
