They say Alaska can be the coldest and most brutal place to live. Nobody realizes it can also the warmest place when it comes to love. Most people would say no way. This is the story of two teenagers, Jay and Rose, who knew each other their whole lives. Jay had a secret. He kept his secret from Rose because he wanted to protect her. Because he loved her. His older brother Dawson loved Rose too, but the thing is, he hates Jay. Rose loved Jay as much as he loved her. Katherine was in love with Dawson. She loved to stare at his clear tan skin. She loved how his black hair was combed to a point. How is beautiful hazel eyes complimented his long eyelashes. She knew he didn't like her back. She knew they would only be friends. Caleb on the other hand met Katherine when Jay met Rose in kindergarten. He loved her long blond hair and her daring green eyes. Her light tanned skin and her funny personality. Dawson was jealous of Jay and how Rose liked him instead. He hated how she loved his tan skin and his black hair that was combed like his hair. He hated how his dark blue eyes complimented his long eyelashes. Rose was only Dawson's friend and that was how it was always going to be. Jay loved Rose's light tanned skin. Her long strawberry blond hair. Her gorgeous blue and green mixed eyes. How her long eyelashes and rosy cheeks made her sweet. Jay never wanted to tell Rose his monstrous secret of him being a werewolf. Dawson and their little sister Abigail were all werewolves. They told nobody their secret. This is how this tragic love story all started.

"Rose get up! You're going to be late to school!" says Lily. "I am coming Lily. It is only Monday." Rose replies sarcastically. "Ugh. Rose you know today is the day to present my big science project! Mom and Dad told you that you have to drive me to school today! Now hurry up. I can't be late." groans Lily. Rose gets out of her bed and starts to get dressed. She runs downstairs to see Lily holding their bags at the front door. "Ok ok. You got dressed, did your hair, did your makeup, and got all your homework. Now let's go you big loaf!" commands Lily. "But Lily I haven't eaten breakfast." groans Rose. "I texted Jay on your phone and he grabbed you Starbucks." sighs Lily. Rose grabs her bag and phone from Lily and locks the door behind them. They put their bags in the back of Rose's black jeep and they ride away. Rose pulls up to Lily's school and helps her with her project. "Oh. Hello Rose. It is good to see you after so long." says Mrs. Peters. "Mrs. Peters! It is great to see you too. I would love to stay and talk, but I have to get to school too." Rose replies. "Okay then. I will help Lily here and you can go to school. Bye now Rose." says Mrs. Peters. Rose waves goodbye and drives off to her school. "Hey Jay!" shouts Rose. Jay turns around and sees Rose park and get out of her car. "It is about time you got here. Katherine, Caleb, and Dawson are already inside. Mrs. Jacobs history lecture is about to start." says Jay handing Rose her cappuccino. "You always know what to get me. Thanks Jay. Sorry I was late. I had to drive Lily to school." replies Rose. Jay grabs Rose's wrist and drags her to Mrs. Jacobs class. "I am glad you two have decided to join us. I was just about to start my lesson." says Mrs. Jacobs. "Sorry ma'am. I had to drive my sister to school and Jay was waiting for me. I will try and not let it happen again." says Rose. "It is okay Rose I completely understand. You two are excused." says Mrs. Jacobs. Rose and Jay sit down next to each other by Katherine, Caleb, and Dawson. "It is about time you joined us Jay." teases Caleb. "Will you all be quiet. I want to make an A in this class along with Rose." whispers Katherine. Dawson lays back in his desk and stares at Rose with a desperate gaze. Caleb taps Dawson's shoulder to make him pay attention. Dawson rolls his hazel eyes and looks back to Mrs. Jacobs. After about an hour of a long history lesson, the bell rings to dismiss the class. "Alright everyone. Have a great day and I will see you all tomorrow." annonces Mrs. Jacobs. Everyone rushes out of the classroom to go to second block. "Hey Katherine. I was wondering if you could help me in math. Since that is our next block." says Caleb. "How about all four of you guys come to my house tonight. We can do our homework together and help each other." suggests Rose. "That's a good idea. I will see you guys after school." says Caleb. Caleb runs off with Katherine to math class. The three teens walk into science class and endure the most boring lesson ever. "I hate this class sometimes. I love doing the projects and experiments, but not the actual studying." complains Jay. "I agree." whispers Rose. "Mr. Snow! If you think you can talk and have free time during my lesson then you can come up here and teach the class yourself, since you know everything." shouts Mr. Davis. "Sorry Sir. It won't happen again." responds Jay. Mr. Davis keeps talking about boring science. Another two hours passes by and the bell rings to go to lunch. "Finally!" groans Dawson. The three catch up with Katherine and Caleb and sit at their original table. "Okay guys. Here is the plan for tonight. I was thinking we could come to my house, order pizza, finish homework, then once we're done, go down to the woods. It is a full moon all this week." announces Rose happily. "Huh. You see the thing is.." starts Jay. "Sorry guys. There is no backing out. I will see you guys tonight at my house." says Rose interrupting Jay. Jay and Dawson look at each other with a worried face and they start to eat their lunch. The bell rings to go to third block. "Time for ELA. Then I am off to math. See you guys later." says Rose cheerfully. "What are you we going to do Dawson? We can't have Rose and the others see us as wolves. I mean seeing two of their best friends turn into a wolf would be crazy." whispers Jay. "Don't get your fur in a knot. We will talk about this in the car. We will just have to be careful." replies Dawson. The two walk to class and go their separate ways. The next few hours of school finally finish and everyone meets at Rose's house.
